Prefabricated Concrete Bricks for Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

Prefabricated concrete bricks for houses are building bricks produced using prefabrication techniques, characterized by a wide variety of brands, significant performance differences, and diverse shapes. They are widely used in building components such as walls and roofs.

Brands and Production

The market for prefabricated concrete bricks for houses features numerous brands, with common ones including Jinshuo Cement, Xingsheng Building Materials, and Dingfeng. Different brands vary in production processes, raw material ratios, and quality control, leading to differences in product performance (such as compressive strength and durability) and price ranges. For example, some brands focus on high-strength products suitable for load-bearing structures, while others emphasize lightweight or decorative designs to meet the needs of non-load-bearing walls or aesthetic enhancements.

Compressive Strength Range

Their compressive strength spans a wide range, from 3.5 MPa to 1000 MPa. Low-strength products (e.g., 3.5-10 MPa) are typically used for non-load-bearing partitions or temporary structures, offering lower costs. Medium- to high-strength products (20-50 MPa) are commonly chosen for ordinary walls and floor slabs, while ultra-high-strength products (≥100 MPa) are suitable for high-rise building load-bearing structures, bridges, and other scenarios with extremely high mechanical performance requirements. The differences in strength primarily stem from cement grades, aggregate types (such as ordinary crushed stone or high-strength lightweight aggregates), and curing processes (e.g., steam curing can enhance early strength).

Shapes and Appearance Features

The shapes are flexibly designed, including rectangles, plates, polygons, hexagons, diamonds, circles, etc., meeting the structural needs of different building components. For example, rectangular bricks facilitate the construction of regular walls; hexagonal or diamond-shaped bricks are often used for landscape paving or special decorative surfaces; circular bricks may be used for drainage outlets or artistic designs. In terms of appearance features, the products offer diverse surface treatments, including polygonal textures, smooth surfaces, solid blocks, and flat aesthetics. Smooth-surface bricks are easy to clean and suitable for interior walls; rough-textured bricks enhance adhesion to mortar and are suitable for exterior walls; solid blocks, due to their high density and excellent sound insulation and thermal insulation properties, are commonly used for partition walls between households.

Roof-Specific Products

In addition to ordinary wall bricks, there are also roof-specific prefabricated concrete bricks on the market. These products are typically optimized for roof drainage, wind resistance, and thermal insulation. For example, some roof bricks feature hollow structures or special slope designs to improve drainage efficiency; others enhance water resistance and extend roof lifespan by adding waterproofing agents or adopting water-repellent surface treatments.
