Prefabricated Concrete Beam House

Admin September 18, 2026

The prefabricated concrete beam house is an assembled house centered around prefabricated reinforced concrete modules, utilizing a factory-prefabrication plus on-site assembly process. It features high efficiency, low cost, environmental friendliness, and flexibility, but it is important to distinguish it from inferior traditional prefabricated panel houses.

Technical Features
The core components of the prefabricated concrete beam house (walls, floors, beams, and columns) are cast in one piece using high-precision molds at specialized production bases, integrating multiple structures such as steel reinforcement skeletons, insulation layers, waterproof layers, and pre-embedded pipelines. It uses C30-C40 grade concrete with built-in Φ8-Φ12 steel reinforcement mesh, achieving a compressive strength of 25-30MPa, which is 1.5 times that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures. The walls have reserved slots for EPS insulation layers, which, when inserted on-site, improve thermal insulation performance by 40%. The modules are connected via prestressed bolts and welded steel plates to form an integrated framework, with a wind resistance rating of up to Level 10 and a seismic fortification intensity of 7 degrees.

Advantages

  1. High Efficiency: A single 30㎡ module can be prefabricated in the factory in just 7 days, and on-site installation of a single module can be completed by 3 workers with a crane in 4 hours, with the entire 100㎡ house taking only 2 days to construct.
  2. Low Cost: Taking a 120㎡ rural self-built house as an example, the cost of a traditional brick-and-mortar structure is approximately 180,000-220,000 yuan, while the cost of the main modules of the concrete house is only 120,000-150,000 yuan, reducing the overall cost by 30%.
  3. Environmental Friendliness: Factory production achieves a 95% recycling rate of offcuts, with no dust or sewage emissions on-site, and construction waste is only 10% of that of traditional construction methods.
  4. Flexibility: The standard module size is 6m×3m×3m, allowing for free adjustment of the house layout through horizontal splicing and vertical stacking (up to 3 floors).

Differences from Traditional Prefabricated Panel Houses
Traditional concrete prefabricated panel houses have safety hazards, such as being prone to collapse during minor earthquakes, and the market is flooded with inferior products that have short service lives and common issues like poor sound insulation and water leakage. In contrast, modern prefabricated concrete beam houses significantly enhance structural safety and durability through high-strength concrete, steel reinforcement skeletons, and integrated connection technologies. Application examples in rural areas of Henan show that their all-reinforced concrete structures can last for 70 years, cost around 300 yuan per square meter, and can have a villa installed in 4 hours or a whole house built in two days.
