Prefabricated Cement House Entrance Porch

Admin September 18, 2026

The prefabricated cement house entrance porch typically refers to a prefabricated cement gatehouse, which is a common architectural component in rural self-built houses, courtyard renovations, and municipal landscape projects. The following provides an introduction from the aspects of production process, structural characteristics, product types, and usage tips:

Production Process: It covers mold design, steel reinforcement framework binding, concrete pouring, vibration compaction, curing, and demolding. Manufacturers create steel or fiberglass molds according to design requirements to ensure clear lines and precise dimensions. The steel reinforcement framework uses national standard cold-drawn steel bars, which are welded or bound and then placed into the mold. High-grade concrete is poured in, and bubbles are removed through vibration tables or manual vibration to enhance concrete density and ensure compressive and flexural strength. The curing process uses natural curing or steam curing for at least 7 days to ensure full hydration of the concrete and achieve the designed strength.

Structural Characteristics:

  • Durability: With high concrete density and steel bars protected by a concrete cover, the structure has strong resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, sun exposure, and rain. In northern regions with large winter temperature variations, prefabricated gatehouses have better freeze-thaw resistance than on-site poured components due to controlled factory curing conditions.
  • Strong Integrity: The molded body has good integrity, effectively resisting stresses caused by foundation settlement, wind loads, and temperature changes.
  • Excellent Resistance to Settlement and Wind Pressure: With strong integrity, it is particularly suitable for sites with average foundation conditions.

Product Types: Mainly divided into new Chinese style, antique archway style, and simple European style. The new Chinese style features clean lines, suitable for modern residential buildings; the antique archway style is often used for village entrance signs or traditional courtyards, with decorative elements like flying eaves and斗拱 (dougong, traditional Chinese bracket sets); the simple European style incorporates Roman columns or arched elements, suitable for European-style villas. They are usually delivered in a rough state with a cement-colored surface, allowing users to later apply tiles, real stone paint, or stone cladding for personalized appearances.

Usage Tips:

  • Easy Installation: Only basic leveling is required on-site. The entire structure is lifted and installed using a crane or small lifting equipment, adjusted for verticality, and then fixed, taking only a few hours and significantly shortening the construction period. Standardized component dimensions ensure good flatness after installation, avoiding issues like wall misalignment and uneven mortar joints common in traditional masonry.
  • Strong Customization Capability: Manufacturers can adjust mold specifications or create custom molds according to customer drawings or size requirements, such as height, width, column spacing, and doorway dimensions, to meet different scenario needs.
  • Key Points for Purchase: Attention should be paid to the manufacturer's mold quality and product precision, concrete strength grade (usually requiring C25 or higher), steel reinforcement configuration (diameter, spacing, and layout must meet design requirements), and whether transportation and installation services are provided.
