Prefabricated Building Assembly Construction Plan
Admin September 18, 2026
The prefabricated building assembly construction plan covers five core aspects: design, production, transportation, installation, and quality control. It achieves efficient construction through standardized and modular design, with a typical process and key points as follows:

1. Design Phase: Balancing Standardization and Functionality
Design should adhere to the principles of safety, stability, green energy efficiency, and construction adaptability, adopting a modular design concept. Specific contents include:
- Architectural and Structural Design: Divide independent modules based on functional requirements, determine module dimensions, connection methods, and load transfer paths to ensure structural safety. For example, use steel frames or concrete core tubes as the main load-bearing structures, with modules connected via high-strength bolts or welding.
- Equipment and Material Selection: Prioritize lightweight and durable materials (such as light steel keels and composite insulation panels), integrate pipelines, doors, windows, and other equipment to reduce on-site work volume.
- BIM Technology Application: Optimize module layout through 3D modeling, identify collision issues in advance, and improve design accuracy.
2. Production Phase: Industrial Manufacturing Ensures Quality
- Prefabricated Component Production: Complete module skeleton welding, wall panel installation, pipeline embedding, and other processes in the factory, using automated equipment to control dimensional deviations (e.g., within ±2mm), with surfaces needing to be flat and defect-free.
- Connection Node Reinforcement: Design detachable connection nodes (such as mortise-and-tenon joints, sleeve connections) to ensure structural stability during transportation and assembly.
- Quality Inspection: Conduct strength tests, airtightness tests, and visual inspections on components, with non-conforming products requiring rework or scrapping.
3. Transportation Phase: Safety and Efficiency Go Hand in Hand
- Transportation Vehicle Selection: Choose flatbed trucks or specialized trailers based on module dimensions, with long-distance transportation requiring shock-absorbing brackets to prevent component deformation.
- Route Planning: Avoid height-restricted, width-restricted sections, and construction areas, selecting flat roads to reduce bumps.
- Fixing and Protection: Isolate modules with wooden blocks or rubber pads, cover them with waterproof cloth externally to prevent rain and collisions.
4. Installation Phase: Precise Assembly and Dynamic Adjustment
- On-site Preparation: Clean the foundation surface, embed anchor bolts or install positioning brackets to ensure the horizontal deviation of the first-floor module is ≤3mm.
- Lifting and Connection: Use truck cranes or tower cranes to lift modules layer by layer, align them with the assistance of laser positioning instruments, apply structural adhesive at connections, and tighten bolts.
- Inspection and Adjustment: Check verticality and flatness after each floor is installed, promptly correct deviations, and conduct overall airtightness and water tightness tests at the end.
5. Quality Control: Full-process Monitoring and Traceability
- Design Review: Organize expert reviews of design drawings to verify structural safety and construction feasibility.
- Production Monitoring: Collect data such as concrete pouring temperature and welding current in real-time through sensors to ensure process compliance.
- Transportation Tracking: Use GPS to locate transportation vehicles, record bumpy sections and times, and assess transportation risks.
- Installation Acceptance: Conduct sub-item acceptance in accordance with the "Technical Standard for Prefabricated Concrete Buildings", retaining image materials and test reports.
Advantages of Modular Buildings: Compared to traditional construction, prefabricated assembly can shorten the construction period by more than 60%, reduce construction waste by 80%, and achieve controllable quality through factory production, with more convenient later maintenance.
