Portable Toilet with Fecal Tank

Admin October 08, 2026

A portable toilet with a fecal tank is a portable sanitation facility that does not require external water and electricity connections and comes with its own fecal tank. It can be moved at any time and is suitable for various scenarios such as construction sites, scenic spots, parks, and home use.

Product Structure and Materials

The core structure of a portable toilet with a fecal tank includes a fecal tank, a toilet compartment body, and supporting facilities. The fecal tank is usually made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is corrosion-resistant and aging-resistant, with a service life of up to 20 years. Some products have a separate design for the fecal tank and the water tank, facilitating cleaning. The toilet compartment body is made of various materials, commonly color-steel composite panels or metal carved panels. The former consists of two layers of metal panels sandwiching polyurethane foam, providing both strength and thermal insulation; the latter has a carved surface, offering a more aesthetically pleasing appearance and strong weather resistance. Some products have dimensions of 1.1×1.1×2.35 meters or 1.3×1.3×2.35 meters, with a height designed in accordance with ergonomics. They are equipped with non-slip embossed floors, ventilation fans, and light socket outlets inside to ensure safety and comfort during use.

Functional Features

  1. Independent Water and Electricity System: No external water and power sources are required. The fecal tank stores excrement, and the water tank provides water for flushing (some products use foot-operated flushing, which is water-saving and hygienic). The voltage is usually 220V, suitable for conventional lighting and ventilation equipment.
  2. Environmental Adaptability: It has a wide applicable temperature range (-35℃ to 100℃) and can operate normally in extreme climates. The color-steel plate or metal carved plate material can effectively resist wind and rain erosion.
  3. Portability and Flexibility: The modular design facilitates disassembly and assembly, allowing for quick relocation to different sites and meeting the needs of temporary or mobile scenarios.

Application Scenarios

  • Construction Sites: It solves the problem of workers' toilet needs and avoids the high construction costs and long cycles of fixed toilets.
  • Scenic Spots and Parks: It can be set up in densely populated tourist areas or nature reserves to reduce the impact on the environment.
  • Home Use: It is suitable for villa courtyards, temporary events, or areas without a sewer system, providing a convenient and hygienic solution.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The fecal tank needs to be cleaned regularly, usually by suction trucks or manual dumping. The cleaning cycle depends on the frequency of use. The high-density polyethylene fecal tank is easy to clean and highly corrosion-resistant, reducing long-term maintenance costs.
