Portable Toilet
A portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole, providing toilet services to the public and customers. It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport.

Composition Structure
A portable toilet is generally composed of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat excreta, ensuring the hygienic use of the toilet. The floor provides a stable standing and moving space for users. Sanitary ware such as toilets or squat pans meets basic toilet needs. The walls serve to separate and protect privacy. The washing equipment facilitates user cleaning. The water tank provides water for flushing and other operations. The roof offers protection from wind and rain. The mobile device enables the toilet to be easily moved and transported.
Classification Methods
- By structural form: Portable toilets can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, suitable for places with limited space or high flexibility requirements. The composite-structure type may be composed of multiple single units, with richer functions to meet the needs of more people.
- By moving method: There are lifting and handling portable toilets, which are usually small in size and light in weight, facilitating manual handling or movement using simple lifting equipment. Power-driven and towed portable toilets are equipped with a power system or can be towed by vehicles, with a wider moving range, suitable for large-scale events or scenarios requiring long-distance movement.
- By sewage treatment method: Portable toilets are divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type portable toilets. The water-flushing type flushes excreta into the storage tank through water flow, with relatively high cleanliness. The non-water-flushing suction type uses suction equipment to suck away excreta. The circulating water-flushing portable toilet can purify the used water and reuse it for flushing, saving water resources. The dry-packing portable toilet packs excreta with special materials for subsequent treatment.
Practical Applications
For example, an economical, simple, and practical 9-squat-position portable toilet is equipped with mobile lifting hooks as a whole, allowing it to be moved quickly between different sites. Its toilet frame is entirely made of galvanized material, which is sturdy and durable, able to adapt to various complex usage environments, providing a convenient toilet solution for temporary events, construction sites, and other places.
