Portable Toilet
A portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has characteristics such as portability, modularity, and ease of transportation.

Structural Composition
A portable toilet is generally composed of parts such as a fecal wastewater storage tank (or fecal wastewater treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. These components work together to ensure the basic functions of the toilet are realized while meeting usage needs in different scenarios.
Classification Methods
- By structural form: Portable toilets can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and suitable for scenarios with limited space or temporary needs. Composite-structure toilets are more complex and may contain multiple functional areas, suitable for long-term or high-traffic usage scenarios.
- By moving method: They can be classified into lifting and handling portable toilets and powered and towed portable toilets. Lifting and handling toilets rely on external equipment for movement and are suitable for short-distance transportation or transfer between fixed locations. Powered and towed toilets have autonomous moving capabilities and can be transported over long distances, offering higher flexibility.
- By sewage treatment method: They can be divided into water-flush and waterless suction portable toilets, circulating water-flush portable toilets, and dry-packing portable toilets. Water-flush toilets offer an experience similar to traditional toilets but require a water source. Waterless suction toilets use vacuum or negative pressure technology to treat feces, saving water and being environmentally friendly. Circulating water-flush toilets achieve water resource recycling through filtration and disinfection systems. Dry-packing toilets do not require a water source at all, and feces are collected in replaceable containers for easy subsequent treatment.
Application Scenarios
Portable toilets are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These places often face difficulties in building fixed toilets due to space limitations, high foot traffic, or temporary needs, making portable toilets an ideal choice.
Price Range
The prices of portable toilets vary greatly depending on the brand, specifications, and materials. There are products on the market ranging from 550 yuan to 12,500 yuan. Prices are influenced by factors such as material quality, functional configurations, brand influence, and after-sales service. Users can choose according to their actual needs and budget.
