Portable Toilet Steel Frame Structure & Components Explained

Admin October 30, 2026

The steel frame structure of Portable Toilet is made of galvanized steel, and its components include the main body, doors and windows, walls, and customizable accessories, featuring high strength, wind resistance, and earthquake resistance.

Characteristics of the Steel Frame Structure

The main body of the Portable Toilet's steel frame is made of galvanized steel, which is treated with a hot-dip galvanizing process to form a dense zinc layer on the surface, effectively preventing steel corrosion and extending the structural lifespan. Its core advantages include:

  • High Strength and Stability: The steel structure comes in various thickness specifications, with frame thickness options of 2.5mm or 3.0mm, and steel wall thickness ranging from 1.2mm to 3.0mm, accommodating different load-bearing requirements.
  • Outstanding Disaster Resistance: Designed to withstand wind speeds exceeding 220km/h, capable of resisting strong typhoons; with an earthquake resistance rating of over 8, suitable for earthquake-prone areas.
  • Wall Construction: Utilizes double-sided steel sandwich panels filled with materials such as rock wool, glass fiber, polyurethane (PU), or extruded polystyrene (XPS). Among them, rock wool and glass fiber provide excellent fire resistance, while PU and XPS enhance thermal insulation, adapting to extreme climatic conditions.

Component Composition and Functions

  1. Main Structure
Composed of two housing units, with standard dimensions of 6000mm×2400mm×2550mm, supporting 20-foot and 40-foot container specifications or custom sizes. The housing units adopt a modular design for easy transportation and rapid assembly.

  2. Door and Window System

    • Doors: Made of steel doors, coated with anti-rust paint on the surface, with door frames seamlessly connected to the steel frame to enhance anti-theft performance.
    • Windows: Utilize aluminum alloy window frames paired with double-glazed windows, balancing daylighting and sound insulation needs, with window bodies equipped with locks to enhance security.
  3. Wall Specifications
Wall thickness options include 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm, with a service life exceeding 25 years. The sandwich panel structure is fixed with high-strength adhesives to ensure long-term use without deformation or detachment.

  4. Customizable Components

    • Mobility Devices: Standard equipment includes two 14-inch tires and a guide pulley, supporting manual pushing or towing by a tractor, adapting to different terrains.
    • Internal Facilities: Can be installed with toilets, sinks, ventilation systems, etc., according to needs, with some models equipped with sewage treatment tanks for independent recycling.
    • Exterior Decoration: Offers custom sticker services, allowing for the printing of corporate logos or promotional patterns to meet branding display needs.

This structure combines durability, functionality, and flexibility through material optimization and modular design, widely applied in construction sites, outdoor events, disaster relief, and other scenarios.
