Portable Small Toilet
A portable small toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. The following is an introduction from aspects such as composition, classification, characteristics, and self-made methods:

Composition: A portable small toilet generally consists of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat excreta; the floor provides a stable standing and activity space; sanitary ware such as toilets is the core toilet equipment; walls serve as enclosures and partitions; washing equipment including faucets and washbasins facilitates user cleaning; a water tank is used to store water for flushing the toilet; the roof provides shelter from wind and rain; and the moving device ensures that the entire toilet can be moved.
Classification:
- By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and independent, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and has more complex functions.
- By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which usually require equipment such as cranes for movement; and powered and trailer-type mobile toilets, which have their own power or can be towed by vehicles, offering higher flexibility.
- By sewage treatment method: It can be classified into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets. The water-flushing type flushes away excreta with water flow, while the non-water-flushing suction type relies on suction equipment for cleaning; the circulating water-flushing type mobile toilet can recycle the water used for flushing, saving water resources; and the dry-packing type mobile toilet dry-packs the excreta for easy subsequent cleaning.
Characteristics: The biggest advantage of a portable small toilet is its portability. It can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be installed, such as large event venues, construction sites, tourist attractions, and other temporary or fixed demand locations. Moreover, it can be used repeatedly, reducing usage costs. In addition, it has the characteristic of being combinable. Multiple toilets can be combined according to actual needs to meet the usage requirements of different numbers of people. Its convenient transportation also makes it more efficient during deployment and withdrawal.
Self-made method: Some people use materials such as water storage barrels, water storage tanks, and pallets to make portable small toilets. For example, first, fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet, place the water storage tank and cut it to form an open tank body. Stack and fix two tank bodies and then cut out a doorway. Cut a hole in the internal floor to install drainage-related components, fix the toilet, install washing equipment such as faucets, washbasins, and showers, and finally install the door. A simple portable small toilet is then completed.
