Portable Single Toilet
The portable single toilet is a type of mobile toilet, which has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. It can be used repeatedly to provide toilet services for the public and customers.

I. Basic Composition A portable single toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device, etc. Initially, it was made of materials such as wood, with a simple structure and function, and was prone to absorbing odors. Later, it gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene, which perform better in terms of durability and odor resistance.
II. Classification
- By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, while the composite-structure type may be more complex and diverse in terms of function or spatial combination.
- By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which mainly rely on external lifting equipment or manual handling to change positions; and powered and trailer-type mobile toilets, which have their own power devices or can be moved by being towed by vehicles, making movement more flexible and convenient.
- By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction-type mobile toilets. The water-flush type is cleaned by water flow, while the waterless-flush suction type relies on a suction device to treat fecal sewage. The circulating water-flush type mobile toilet can recycle the flushing water to save water resources. The dry-packing type mobile toilet packs and treats feces, etc., without the need for water flushing.
III. Application Scenarios and Characteristics The portable single toilet can be conveniently transported to any place where a toilet needs to be set up. For example, there are independent single rooms of grille-style mobile toilets, and pointed-roof mobile toilets equipped with partitions and rain-proof corridors. After fine decoration, they can serve as both toilets and showers. There are also single toilets with nine units in one room, suitable for construction sites, rural areas, orchards, etc. They are equipped with washbasins, squatting pans, exhaust fans, switches, and wires, meeting people's basic toilet needs in different scenarios.
