Portable Simple Mobile Toilet

Admin October 12, 2026

A portable simple mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is suitable for various places and has multiple structural forms, mobility methods, and sewage treatment methods.

I. Basic Components A portable simple mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobility device. These components work together to ensure the basic functions of the toilet are realized, such as storing fecal sewage, providing toilet space, and ensuring hygiene conditions.

II. Material Development Initially, mobile toilets were mostly made of materials like wood, with relatively simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. With technological progress, materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene have gradually been adopted. These new materials offer better durability, odor resistance, and ease of cleaning, enhancing the overall performance and user experience of mobile toilets.

III. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are usually simpler and suitable for spaces with limited room or temporary use scenarios; composite-structure toilets are more complex and may contain multiple functional areas, suitable for long-term or high-traffic places.
  2. By mobility method: They can be classified as lifting/handling mobile toilets and powered/trailer-mounted mobile toilets. Lifting/handling toilets rely on external equipment for movement and are suitable for short-distance or fixed-location setups; powered/trailer-mounted toilets have autonomous mobility capabilities and can be quickly deployed to different locations.
  3. By sewage treatment method: They can be divided into water-flush and waterless-suction mobile toilets, recirculating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush toilets rely on a water source for flushing and are suitable for places with water supply; waterless-suction toilets use suction equipment to treat feces and are suitable for water-scarce areas; recirculating water-flush toilets reduce water consumption by recycling water resources; dry-packing toilets pack feces for easy subsequent cleanup.

IV. Main Features Portable simple mobile toilets have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. They can be used repeatedly and adapt to the needs of different places. They are widely used in stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets, providing convenient toilet services to the public.
