Portable Outdoor Toilet

Admin September 22, 2026

Portable outdoor toilets generally refer to mobile toilets, which are facilities that can be moved as a whole to provide toilet services for the public and customers. The following is an introduction from the aspects of applicable places, composition structure, classification methods, and practical cases:

  • Applicable places: Mobile toilets are suitable for a variety of places, including stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, as well as densely populated public places and bustling commercial streets. These places often have a high volume of foot traffic and a high demand for toilet facilities, and the flexibility and convenience of mobile toilets make them an ideal choice.

  • Composition structure: Mobile toilets are generally composed of multiple parts, including fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to ensure the normal operation and hygiene conditions of mobile toilets.

  • Classification methods:

    • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets are usually relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or temporary needs; while composite-structure mobile toilets are more complex and may contain multiple functional areas, suitable for places with higher requirements for toilet facilities.
    • By moving method: They can be divided into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Lifting and handling-type mobile toilets usually require external equipment for movement and are suitable for large or heavy mobile toilets; while powered and towed-type mobile toilets have autonomous mobility capabilities and are more flexible and convenient.
    • By sewage treatment method: They can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. These classification methods reflect the different technologies and methods used by mobile toilets in treating fecal sewage.
  • Practical cases: For example, there is a customized toilet in a scenic spot that covers an area of less than 6 square meters. It adopts a layout of three single rooms and uses materials such as waterproof and flame-retardant metal carved panels and steel integrated doors, which are both beautiful and practical. There is also a four-squat-position toilet that is 4 meters long and 2.3 meters wide with a pointed roof. The exterior wall is made of heat-insulating metal carved panels. The men's toilet is equipped with two squat positions, urinals, and column basins, meeting the needs of different groups of people.
