Portable Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin September 21, 2026

The portable installation of mobile toilets should be carried out in stages, including pre-installation preparation, on-site installation, and specialized installation of mobile toilets. The specific steps and key points are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Site Survey: Determine the installation location in advance. Prioritize flat and solid ground areas, avoiding main construction roads, areas with frequent vehicle traffic, and pollution sources (such as septic tanks and garbage dumping sites) to reduce the risk of external impact or odor interference.
  2. Material Verification: Check the appearance of the toilet cabinet for any damage and confirm the completeness of accessories, including door locks, flush valves, sewage pipes, and sealing gaskets. If any cabinet deformation, missing or damaged accessories are found, contact the supplier immediately for replacement to avoid interruption during installation.
  3. Foundation Preparation: Clear ground debris (such as stones and branches) and lay the foundation according to the type of toilet. For single-person toilets, ensure a load-bearing capacity of ≥200kg/㎡. This can be achieved by laying a 10-15cm thick gravel layer or pouring a C20 concrete foundation to distribute pressure and prevent settlement.

II. On-site Installation Steps

  1. Cabinet Positioning: Use a forklift or crane to lift the toilet body smoothly to the designated location. Maintain the cabinet's level during lifting to avoid tilting, which could cause structural deformation or misalignment of connections. After positioning, use a level to verify that the height difference between the four corners is ≤5mm.
  2. Drainage Connection: Connect the sewage pipe to the municipal drainage system or a temporary collection pit. Wrap the connection with Teflon tape and apply waterproof glue, then secure it with a clamp to prevent sewage leakage. If used temporarily, regularly clean and disinfect the collection pit.
  3. Flush System Debugging: After connecting the water supply, test the flush function multiple times to observe if the flush force is sufficient and if the drainage pipe is unobstructed. If drainage is slow, check for bent or clogged pipes and make adjustments promptly.
  4. Internal and External Inspection: After installation, check the firmness of internal facilities (such as toilet seats and handrails) and the sealing of external cabinet joints, focusing on areas like door frames and sewage pipe connections to ensure no water or air leaks.

III. Specialized Installation of Mobile Toilets
The installation process for mobile toilets is relatively simplified. Upon receiving the product, first unpack and verify the accessories (such as the toilet body, water tank, hose, and sealing gasket), then assemble according to the instructions. During assembly, note the following:

  1. Install a sealing gasket at the connection between the water tank and the toilet body to prevent water leakage;
  2. Connect both ends of the hose to the water tank inlet and the external water source, ensuring a tight connection;
  3. After installation, test the flush function and observe if the water tank refills normally.

Precautions: Wear protective gloves during installation to avoid cuts; in winter construction, take insulation measures for water pipes to prevent freezing and cracking; for long-term use, regularly check the sealing of sewage pipes and the structural stability of the cabinet.
