Portable Mobile Toilet
A portable mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport.

Definition and Characteristics
Portable mobile toilets can be conveniently transported to any location where a toilet needs to be set up and can be used repeatedly. Their overall structure is designed to be lightweight, and lightweight and durable materials are used as much as possible. For example, they were initially made of materials such as wood and later gradually developed to use materials like fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. This not only ensures structural stability but also reduces their own weight, facilitating movement and transportation.
Composition Structure
Mobile toilets generally consist of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat fecal sewage, ensuring the hygiene of the toilet environment. The floor provides a stable standing and activity space for users. Sanitary ware such as toilets is the core equipment for using the toilet. The walls serve to separate and protect privacy. The washing equipment makes it convenient for users to clean themselves. The water tank provides water for operations such as flushing. The roof can shelter from wind and rain and protect the internal facilities. The mobile device endows the toilet with the characteristic of being movable.
Classification Methods
- By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and independent, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
- By movement method: They are classified into hoisting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Hoisting and handling-type toilets may require external equipment for movement. Powered and towed-type toilets have their own power or can be moved by towing, offering higher flexibility.
- By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush type mobile toilets, and dry-packing type mobile toilets. Different treatment methods are suitable for different usage scenarios and requirements. For example, the water-flush type provides an experience closer to that of traditional toilets, while the waterless-flush suction type and dry-packing type are more suitable for areas with scarce water resources or high environmental protection requirements.
