Portable Construction Site Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

Portable construction site mobile toilets come in various types, each with distinct features. Here is a detailed introduction:

Classification by structural form:

  • Single-unit structure mobile toilet: It has a relatively simple and independent structure, typically consisting of basic components such as a fecal sewage storage tank, floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, and roof. This type of toilet has strong integrity and is relatively easy to install and dismantle, making it suitable for construction site environments with low space requirements and relatively simple usage scenarios. For example, on some small construction sites, single-unit structure mobile toilets can be quickly set up and put into use to meet the basic toilet needs of workers.
  • Composite structure mobile toilet: Composed of multiple single-unit structures, it offers more diverse functions. In addition to basic toilet facilities, it may also be equipped with washing equipment, water tanks, and other facilities, providing more comprehensive sanitation services. On large construction sites or in places with high sanitation requirements, composite structure mobile toilets can better meet the usage needs of personnel and improve the overall sanitation level of the construction site.

Classification by mobility method:

  • Lifting and handling type mobile toilet: It has a relatively small self-weight and volume, facilitating lifting and handling by equipment such as cranes. During the construction process on a construction site, if the toilet location needs to be frequently changed, this type of mobile toilet has a significant advantage as it can be flexibly adjusted according to the construction progress and personnel distribution.
  • Powered and towed type mobile toilet: Usually equipped with a power unit or a towable structure, it can move autonomously or be towed by a vehicle. Powered mobile toilets can travel autonomously within a certain range and have strong adaptability; towed mobile toilets can be quickly transported to different locations with the help of vehicles, making them suitable for use on large construction sites or between multiple construction sites.

Classification by sewage treatment method:

  • Water-flush and waterless suction type mobile toilet: Water-flush mobile toilets use water to flush feces, providing good cleaning effects but requiring a connection to a water source and sewage pipeline. Waterless suction type mobile toilets, on the other hand, use suction equipment to remove feces without the need for water flushing, making them suitable for water-scarce areas or construction sites where it is inconvenient to connect to a water source.
  • Recirculating water-flush type mobile toilet: It treats and recycles sewage, using the treated water for toilet flushing. This not only saves water resources but also ensures the cleanliness and hygiene of the toilet, making it suitable for construction sites with high environmental protection requirements.
  • Dry-packing type mobile toilet: For example, a 304 stainless steel packing toilet uses 1.2 thickened plates, which are durable and resistant to damage. It does not require water flushing or a sewage pipeline. Feces are sealed and packed by stepping on a pedal, keeping it clean and odor-free. It is suitable for construction sites, outdoor toilet renovations, civil air defense projects, and other scenarios.
