Pidu Mobile Toilet

Admin September 23, 2026

The mobile toilets in Pidu District, represented by the smart toilets produced by Zhonghe Qingshan Toilet Technology (Sichuan) Co., Ltd., feature diverse functions, advanced technology, and flexible scenarios.

I. Function and Design
The smart toilets customized by Zhonghe Qingshan for the Chengdu World Games feature a blue exterior with white stripes. Inside, there are functional areas such as a comprehensive toilet area and a men's urinal area, along with World Games promotional content. The toilets are equipped with a fresh air system, deodorization system, air conditioning, AED emergency equipment, and electronic screens that display real-time environmental data (such as temperature, humidity, and air quality) and usage counts. Each stall includes handrails, a one-touch emergency button, and offers both squat and toilet options to cater to different needs.

II. Technological Breakthroughs
The smart toilets developed by Zhonghe Qingshan break away from the traditional reliance on sewers and septic tanks by using microbial fermentation technology to treat waste on-site, reducing its volume, and rendering it harmless. The waste is decomposed by microbes into organic fertilizer raw materials and clean water, enabling resource recycling. The toilets are produced using industrial assembly lines, allowing for rapid installation and suitability for extreme environments such as high altitudes and low temperatures, addressing sanitation challenges in remote or temporary settings.

III. Multi-functional Scenarios
The smart toilets adopt a “1+X” versatile space model, allowing for the addition of commercial modules such as convenience stores, vending machines, cafes, and tea bars, in addition to basic toilet functions. They can even be equipped with volunteer service stations or referee rest areas. For example, during the World Games, some toilets had volunteer stations on the first floor and rest areas on the second floor, achieving functional integration.

IV. Application and Promotion
Zhonghe Qingshan has become the sole toilet provider for the Chengdu World Games, with products covering cities like Chengdu, Chongqing, and Nanchong, and exported to Europe and Africa. Pidu District plans to deploy 200 such smart toilets across the region in the future, with 2 already installed. Additionally, several companies in Pidu District and surrounding Chengdu areas offer customized mobile toilet services, including foam-sealed, mechanically packaged, water-flush direct-discharge, and simple single-stall models, with prices ranging from 2,500 yuan to tens of thousands of yuan, supporting both purchase and rental options for various scenarios such as tourist attractions, construction sites, and commercial areas.
