Pentagonal Prefabricated Housing Methods

Admin September 19, 2026

Pentagonal prefabricated housing methods mainly include three types: concrete pentagonal modular construction and construction methods, pentagonal box component integral casting and automatic demolding templates, and box-structure multi-story residential building systems.

Concrete pentagonal modular construction and construction methods: This method focuses on the structural design of pentagonal modules. Through prefabricated assembly, it effectively reduces the superposition of panels. The connection method between frame columns and concrete composite beams has been optimized, greatly enhancing the degree of assembly and significantly shortening the construction period. To address the issues of ineffective connections and transportation stability in low-rise buildings, a core tube layout and a limiting mechanism transportation plan are adopted. The core tube layout provides stable structural support for the building, while the limiting mechanism transportation plan ensures the stability of pentagonal modules during transportation, achieving the dual goals of structural lightweighting and construction convenience.

Pentagonal box component integral casting and automatic demolding templates: Pentagonal box components can be integrally cast in one go and automatically demolded. Each concrete box forms an ordinary room, consisting of four walls (front, back, left, and right), a top panel, and a floor panel, creating a hexagonal space. The production methods mainly include assembly and integral casting. The integral casting method involves first casting five or four sides of the hexagonal box and then assembling them with the required one or two-sided components. This method ensures the integrity and quality stability of the components, while the automatic demolding function improves production efficiency and reduces the time and cost of manual operations.

Box-structure multi-story residential building systems: In prefabricated component factories, pentagonal box-type housing components with four walls and one floor panel are integrally cast in one go using reinforced concrete, achieving industrialized production. After these components are transported to the construction site, they are stacked layer by layer using cranes. They do not require plastering and can be delivered for use as residential buildings and other structures after minor decoration. This building system significantly shortens on-site construction time, improves construction efficiency, and ensures the consistency and stability of building quality.
