Park Mobile Toilet Usage Standards

Admin October 02, 2026

The usage standards for park mobile toilets cover four main aspects: user capacity limits, equipment standards, layout and management, and usage requirements, as detailed below:

1. User Capacity Limits
The user capacity limits for park mobile toilets should be determined based on the toilet size, facility configuration, and site conditions, with no fixed uniform value. Small mobile toilets are typically designed to accommodate 100-150 users and are suitable for areas with fewer visitors. Mobile toilets in large parks or densely populated areas (such as park entrances and event venues) can accommodate 200-300 users or even more. In actual use, adjustments should be made dynamically based on visitor flow to avoid overloading, which can lead to sanitation issues or facility damage.

2. Equipment Standards

  • Quantity Configuration: It is recommended to configure one mobile toilet per 100 users to ensure a balance between supply and demand. For example, a park with a daily visitor count of 500 should have at least five mobile toilets.
  • Area Requirements: Each mobile toilet should have an area of no less than 1.2 square meters to ensure users can move around, open and close doors, and perform other basic actions comfortably, avoiding safety hazards caused by cramped spaces.
  • Facility Integrity: Essential equipment such as sinks, mirrors, toilets (or squat toilets), paper towel dispensers, and enclosed trash bins must be provided and regularly inspected and replenished to ensure all facilities are complete and functioning properly.

3. Layout and Management

  • Scientific Layout: Mobile toilets should be placed near main park paths or in areas with high visitor concentrations, avoiding proximity to dining areas and children's play areas to minimize odor interference. They should also be kept away from water sources to prevent contamination.
  • Regular Maintenance: Dedicated personnel should be assigned to clean and disinfect the toilets daily, focusing on toilets, floors, and trash bins, and checking for facility damage (such as locks and flushing systems) for timely repair or replacement.
  • Information Display: Use signs to clearly indicate the nature of use (e.g., 'Public Mobile Toilet'), target users (visitors/staff), and operating hours to avoid resource idleness or misuse.

4. Usage Requirements

  • Civilized Use: Users should keep the toilets clean inside and out, dispose of waste in trash bins, and refrain from spitting or littering.
  • Resource Conservation: Control the flow of water when washing hands and avoid prolonged flushing; toilet paper should be placed in designated recycling bins and not flushed down the toilet to prevent clogging.
  • Safety Precautions: Check the stability of facilities before use to avoid slipping due to wet floors or unstable equipment; children should use the toilets under adult supervision.
  • Prohibition of Vandalism: Carving, kicking toilets, or intentionally damaging sinks and other facilities are strictly prohibited, and violators will be held liable for compensation.
