Installation of Mobile Partitions for Outdoor Toilets

Admin September 28, 2026

The installation of mobile partitions for outdoor toilets can be carried out by referring to the following steps:

I. Preliminary Preparations

  1. Foundation Construction: First, complete the laying of floor and wall tiles, and customize the partitions according to the actual dimensions; install drainage pipes and floor drains to ensure the drainage system is unobstructed.
  2. Layout Design: Use a laser level or chalk line to mark the centerlines of the fixing plates, footrests, and columns on the walls and floors, ensuring that the distances from the top and sides meet the design requirements, with an error tolerance of ±2mm.
  3. Component Matching: Select matching screws, expansion tubes, L-shaped fixing plates, etc., according to the partition material (such as compact laminate or PVC board), ensuring consistent specifications. For example, a 12mm-thick partition requires M6×60mm screws.

II. Core Installation Steps

  1. Wall Fixing Plate Installation

    • Drill holes (depth ≥40mm) on the marked lines, embed plastic plugs, and vertically fix the fixing plates to the wall with M8 expansion screws, ensuring a distance of 145mm from the floor.
    • Key Point: The spacing between fixing plates should be adjusted according to the partition width, typically ≤600mm, to prevent partition deformation.
  2. Adjustable Footrest Installation

    • Drill holes at the marked lines on the floor, install adjustable footrests, and fix them 150mm from the front edge of the partition. Adjust the height by rotating the footrests to ensure the partition bottom is 145mm from the floor.
    • Note: The footrests must be tightly fitted to the floor to prevent wobbling.
  3. Partition Installation

    • Stand the partition upright against the fixing plates and footrests, align it with a level, and then fix it to the fixing plates with screws from the side, securing the footrests with screws at the bottom.
    • Detail: Clean debris from the joints, apply special adhesive mortar, and ensure the joint width is ≤3mm for sealing.
  4. Column and Tie Rod Installation

    • Middle Columns: Connect the columns to the partitions with tie rod fixing plates and add L-shaped fixing plates at the top for enhanced stability.
    • Wall-Side Columns: Fix them vertically to the wall, 145mm from the floor, and connect them to the partitions with L-shaped plates.
    • Tie Rods: Cut them according to the length of the compartments, connect them at corners with 90-degree connectors, and lock the end tie rods to the wall with convex circular fixing sleeves.
  5. Door Installation

    • Fix the safety hinge bases to the columns, the hinge plates to the top and bottom ends of the door, install automatic-returning nylon seats, and adjust the door opening angle to 90 degrees to ensure smooth operation without jamming.

III. Inspection and Maintenance

  1. Inspection Items: Partition levelness, door smoothness, tie rod firmness, and joint sealing.
  2. Daily Maintenance: Regularly clean stains from the partition surface, check for loose screws, and avoid impact from heavy objects to prevent deformation.

Strictly following the installation sequence and detail requirements ensures the partition structure is stable, safe to use, and extends its service life.
