Outdoor Single Mobile Toilet Installation
Admin October 06, 2026
The installation of outdoor single mobile toilets must follow standardized procedures to ensure safety and proper functionality. The specific steps and precautions are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparations
- Site Survey and Planning
- Confirm that the installation location avoids low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage lines, and obstacles. Measure the site dimensions to ensure that the access passage width is ≥1.2 meters and reserve operational space.
- Check whether the site has power and drainage conditions. If connection to municipal pipelines or a sewage collection tank is required, plan the path in advance.
- Material Inventory and Inspection
- Verify the quantity, model, and accessories (such as sinks, flushing devices, sewage pipes, etc.) of the mobile toilets. Inspect the equipment for any external damage and ensure that internal facilities (such as water tanks and ventilation systems) are intact.
- Tool and Personnel Preparation
- Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, spirit levels, electric drills (4.2 mm drill bits), and rivet guns. Arrange for 2-3 professional personnel to operate and coordinate with a crane for heavy equipment transportation if necessary.
II. On-site Installation Steps
- Foundation Fixing Operations
- Hoist the toilet body to the designated location and adjust it to be level using a spirit level, with a deviation not exceeding 3 mm. In areas with strong winds, use expansion bolts or counterweights to reinforce and prevent tipping.
- Water and Electricity Connection and Debugging
- Connect the sewage pipe to the sewer or sewage collection tank, ensuring a pipe slope of ≥2% to prevent backflow of sewage. Connect to the water source (water pipe diameter ≥DN20) and test the flushing function and drainage sealability.
- Check whether the lighting and ventilation equipment are functioning properly and whether the water tank level is sufficient. Ensure there is no risk of electric leakage or short circuit.
- Detail Inspection and Cleaning
- Install accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, and test the flexibility of the door lock and flushing button. Clean and disinfect the interior and place consumables such as air fresheners and toilet paper.
III. Post-installation Acceptance and Delivery
- Function Test Checklist
- Flushing test: Press the flushing button 3 times consecutively to confirm smooth drainage without blockage; Load-bearing test: Evenly step on the top of the equipment to check structural stability.
- Delivery Document Confirmation
- Provide the customer with an Equipment Installation Acceptance Certificate, indicating the installation date, warranty period, and usage instructions (such as water-saving mode operation and regular cleaning cycle).
IV. Precautions and Safety Regulations
- Installation Safety Requirements
- Wear a safety harness during high-altitude operations. Installation is prohibited in wind speeds ≥5 or during thunderstorms. Smoking or the use of open flames is prohibited inside the toilet, and keep away from fire sources.
- Construction Site Management
- Demarcate the construction area and set up warning signs to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching. Night construction requires lighting equipment and the installation of reflective strips to enhance visibility.
- Other Requirements
- The lessee must complete the installation planning 72 hours in advance. The installation team should carry spare parts (such as seals and screws) to respond to emergencies. If there are special size requirements, customized solutions can be communicated in advance.
