Outdoor Portable Toilet with Fixing Ropes

Admin October 10, 2026

The fixing methods for outdoor portable toilets with fixing ropes vary by region, with Xinxiang and Jiujiang adopting different approaches to ensure stability, as detailed below:

In Xinxiang, the primary fixing method combines windproof ropes with ground stakes/heavy objects. After installing windproof ropes on the toilet's roof, the other end is secured to ground stakes or heavy objects (such as concrete blocks or stone piers) to form a basic anchor point. In strong wind conditions, a "well"-shaped diagonal bracing structure is employed: nylon or steel cables are used to cross-tighten from four directions (or more angles) of the toilet's main body, dispersing wind pressure through multi-directional force and enhancing overall wind resistance. This method is suitable for temporary setups or scenarios with significant wind variations. Material selection should consider both strength and weather resistance—nylon ropes are lightweight and corrosion-resistant, suitable for short-term use; steel cables offer higher strength but require regular inspection for rust.

Jiujiang focuses on the stability design of ground anchors and triangular tension structures. First, ground anchors are pre-buried at the four corners or key stress points of the public toilet, secured deeply using expansion screws (for hard surfaces) or concrete pouring (for soft surfaces). During the connection phase, steel cables with a diameter of over 5mm are used to link the ground anchors to the toilet's roof, forming multiple triangular tension units. The triangular structure effectively disperses lateral forces, preventing tilting caused by single-point stress. The tension ropes should be kept moderately tight: too loose reduces fixing effectiveness, while too tight may cause material breakage due to thermal expansion/contraction or wind changes. Spring clips added at both ends allow for dynamic adjustment—tightening the ropes when wind increases and loosening them when wind decreases, balancing safety and flexibility.

Both methods require regular inspection of fixing points: in Xinxiang, check for displacement of ground stakes/heavy objects and wear on windproof ropes; in Jiujiang, inspect for cracks in the ground anchor concrete and looseness in the steel cable clips. Additionally, prior to extreme weather (such as typhoons or heavy rain), reinforcement should be carried out in advance, and temporary support structures added if necessary, to ensure the long-term stable use of outdoor portable toilets in complex environments.
