Outdoor Portable Toilet Storage Issues
If an outdoor portable toilet cannot be stored properly, it may be due to not following the correct procedures or not ensuring the equipment is completely dry. The following steps can be taken to resolve the issue:

I. Immediate Post-Use Handling
After use, immediately tie the opening of the built-in special garbage bag or collection bag tightly to prevent leakage of waste or odor diffusion. If the equipment has a lid design, cover it promptly to further block odors. This step is fundamental to avoiding subsequent cleaning difficulties and odor residue.
II. Proper Disposal of Waste
There are two main disposal methods:
- Portable Collection Bags: After defecation, add a coagulant or deodorant to solidify the waste and reduce odors. Seal it and place it in a dedicated garbage bag for disposal.
- Biodegradable Systems: Some equipment is equipped with biodegradable functions that can convert waste into stable solids and liquids. Follow the instructions for disposal. It is strictly prohibited to discharge untreated waste directly into the natural environment, as this may pollute soil or water sources.
III. Equipment Cleaning and Deodorization
- After removing the sealed waste, wipe the toilet bowl or inner bucket with a damp cloth and dish detergent or a special cleaning agent.
- For stubborn stains, use a cleaning agent containing decontamination and disinfection ingredients, or a natural combination of baking soda and white vinegar (test compatibility first).
- If the equipment contains electronic components (such as flush buttons or sensors), do not rinse them directly with water; wipe them with a damp cloth instead.
- Before each use, place a small amount of deodorizing gel or disinfectant pad in the inner bucket to extend the cleaning cycle.
IV. Drying and Inspection
After cleaning, ensure that all critical parts (especially folding joints and around electronic components) are completely dry. A damp environment can breed bacteria or cause metal parts to rust, affecting the lifespan of the equipment. Regularly check if the folding joints are loose to ensure structural stability and avoid jamming during storage due to detached parts.
V. Easy Storage
After the equipment is completely dry, operate according to its type:
- Folding Toilets: Fold and lock the buckles as designed, avoiding forced squeezing that may cause deformation.
- Packing Toilets: After folding, place them in a dedicated storage bag, being careful not to exceed the product's weight limit, which may damage the structure or affect future use.
If storage is still not possible, check if it is due to damaged parts (such as broken buckles or rusted joints), and contact after-sales service for repair or replacement of parts.
