Outdoor Portable Toilet Production Process
Admin October 07, 2026
The production process of outdoor portable toilets mainly includes two methods: using water storage tanks and pallets, and using water storage barrels. Details are as follows:

Production Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets
- Basic Frame Construction: Select appropriate plastic pallets and fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom to ensure mobility. The choice of universal wheels should consider load-bearing capacity to support the weight of the entire portable toilet.
- Water Storage Tank Modification: Recycle water storage tanks and cut openings at the top to form tank bodies. Stack two top-opened water storage tanks upside down and use self-tapping screws to fix the outer frame, ensuring structural stability.
- Opening and Drainage System: Cut a rectangular opening measuring 180 cm in height and 50 cm in width on the outer frame of the water storage tank as a door for easy access. Drill holes in the interior floor and install elbow pipes. Seal the gaps properly and connect them to the toilet drainage outlet to ensure smooth and leak-free drainage.
- Functional Component Installation: Fix the toilet and seal it with glue to prevent odor emission. Install a faucet, a washbasin made of a stainless steel basin, and a drainage pipe. Connect the toilet water tank, shower hose, and showerhead. Finally, install the toilet seat to complete the basic functions of the toilet.
- Door Production: Fix a wooden board with hinges on the frame of the water storage tank to form a door and install a door handle for easy opening and closing.
Production Using Water Storage Barrels
- Water Storage Barrel Division and Mobility Structure: Split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise and fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to provide a mobile base for the portable toilet.
- Height and Wall Reinforcement: Use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to fix them on the upper side of the barrel to increase height and meet usage requirements. Cut an entrance on the side of the water storage barrel and install sponge strips on both sides to form a door frame, providing cushioning and sealing.
- Roof and Wall Completion: Embed plastic soft boards to form elevated walls and place the upper half of the water storage barrel on top of the wooden strips as a roof. Paint the wooden strips with white waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics and waterproof performance.
- Drainage and Water Storage System: Drill holes at the bottom of the barrel and install drainage pipes to form floor drains for easy sewage discharge. Cut holes on the side to connect direct fittings and install another fitting at the bottom with a plastic bucket as a small water storage device for sewage collection.
- Functional Component Installation: Connect the water pipe of the bathroom heater, install a three-way fitting under the inlet pipe, and connect the showerhead. Place the toilet and fix the water tank, connecting the drainage pipe to the sewage bucket. Connect a horizontal water pipe from the three-way fitting of the outlet pipe to the entrance as the inlet pipe for the washbasin, completing all functions.
