How to Install an Outdoor Portable Toilet

Admin October 08, 2026

Outdoor portable toilets are usually prefabricated products from factories and can be used immediately after on-site installation. Here are the specific installation steps:

Pre-installation Preparation

After receiving the outdoor portable toilet, you need to prepare the necessary installation tools in advance, including an electric drill, a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, and a rivet gun. These tools are essential for the subsequent installation process. The electric drill is used for drilling holes, the 4.2-millimeter drill bit matches the rivet specifications, and the rivet gun is used to secure the rivets, ensuring that all components are firmly connected. At the same time, choose a suitable installation site. The site should be flat and solid, capable of bearing the weight of the portable toilet, and there should be enough space for installation operations to avoid difficulties or safety hazards during installation due to site issues.

Specific Installation Steps

  1. Install Inner Corners: First, install the inner corners. Install the inner corners in their corresponding positions according to the design requirements. This step requires ensuring that the inner corners are installed accurately and firmly because the inner corners are an important supporting part of the entire portable toilet structure, and their installation quality directly affects the subsequent panel splicing and overall stability. During the installation of the inner corners, you can use auxiliary tools such as screws for preliminary fixation to ensure that the inner corners do not shift during subsequent operations.
  2. Splice Panels: After completing the installation of the inner corners, start splicing the panels. Insert the panels into the pre-designed slots. Pay attention to alignment during the splicing process to ensure that the panels are tightly and smoothly spliced together without gaps. When the top and the panels are aligned, use the prepared 4.2-millimeter drill bit to drill holes at appropriate positions. The drilling positions should be determined according to the design requirements and actual conditions to ensure that the subsequent rivets can be accurately inserted and play a fixing role.
  3. Secure Rivets: After drilling the holes, insert the rivets into the drilled holes and then use the rivet gun to secure the rivets. When securing the rivets, ensure that the rivet gun is operated correctly so that the rivets can fully expand and tightly connect the panels together, enhancing the stability of the entire portable toilet structure. Follow this method to complete the splicing of all panels and the securing of rivets one by one until the frame of the entire outdoor portable toilet is built.
