Outdoor Movable Public Toilet

Admin October 22, 2026

An outdoor movable public toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is suitable for various locations and comes in multiple structural forms, mobility methods, and sewage treatment approaches.

Suitable Locations: Outdoor movable public toilets are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These locations often require flexible and convenient toilet facilities to meet public needs due to factors such as high foot traffic, high costs of constructing fixed toilets, or space limitations.

Components: They are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobility devices. Different components work together to ensure the normal use and mobility of the toilet. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and treat excreta, while the mobility device facilitates the overall transportation and relocation of the toilet.

Structural Forms: According to their structural forms, they can be divided into single-structure movable toilets and composite-structure movable toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and highly independent, while composite-structure toilets may combine multiple functions or materials, offering higher stability and applicability.

Mobility Methods: Based on mobility methods, they can be categorized as hoisting and handling movable toilets and powered and towed movable toilets. Hoisting and handling movable toilets usually require lifting equipment for movement and are suitable for locations with short distances or low mobility frequencies. Powered and towed movable toilets can be moved by vehicle traction or their own power, making them more flexible and convenient for scenarios requiring frequent movement or long-distance transportation.

Sewage Treatment Methods: According to sewage treatment methods, they can be divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction movable toilets, circulating water-flush movable toilets, and dry-packing movable toilets. Water-flush and waterless-flush suction movable toilets treat excreta through water flushing or suction. Circulating water-flush movable toilets reduce water consumption by recycling water resources. Dry-packing movable toilets package excreta dryly without using water, making them more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient.
