Installation of Water Tanks for Outdoor Mobile Toilets

Admin September 27, 2026

The steps and key points for installing water tanks in outdoor mobile toilets vary depending on the type of toilet, mainly divided into two cases: flush-type direct-discharge mobile toilets and water-circulation mobile toilets.

Flush-Type Direct-Discharge Mobile Toilets

  • Water Supply System Connection: Flush-type toilets must be connected to a clean water source, typically through an external water pipe connected to the on-site water supply network or an independent water tank. Using qualified fittings during connection is crucial to ensure a firm and leak-proof connection. After installation, open the valve to check the water pressure. Stable water pressure is a prerequisite for the normal operation of the flushing device. At the same time, test whether the flushing device (mostly foot-operated or sensor-operated) works properly and carefully check for any water leakage points. If leakage is found, it should be dealt with promptly to avoid water waste and interference with the normal use of the toilet.
  • Water Tank Related: Before installation, ensure that the relevant sewage storage and water supply components are correctly installed. For flush-type direct-discharge toilets, they have temporary sewage storage facilities (black water tanks) and also need to be connected to a clean water source for flushing. This can be understood as the installation and connection of components with functions similar to those of a water tank. It is necessary to ensure a smooth water supply. Only with a normal water supply can the normal flushing function be maintained, ensuring the hygiene and user experience of the toilet.

Water-Circulation Mobile Toilets

  • Equipment Inspection and Component Verification: Before starting the installation, carefully check all components against the equipment list to ensure they are complete and in good condition. Pay special attention to checking core components such as the water tank, as these components may be damaged or missing during transportation. If any problems are found, communicate with the supplier in a timely manner to resolve them and ensure the smooth progress of the installation work.
  • Inlet Pipe Connection: Reliably connect the external water supply pipe to the toilet's inlet valve and water tank. An filter is usually required to be installed at the inlet end. The function of the filter is to prevent impurities from entering the system, avoid impurities clogging the pipes or damaging the water pump, and affect the normal operation of the water circulation system. After connection, check the tightness of all interfaces to ensure there is no leakage, preventing system failures or water waste caused by leakage.
