How Does Outdoor Mobile Toilet Dispose of Sewage

Admin October 05, 2026

There are mainly four types of sewage disposal methods for outdoor mobile toilets: conventional water-flushing, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, and biodegradation systems.

Conventional Water-flushing: This is the most common sewage disposal method. It requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes, and achieves sewage disposal through manual or automatic sensing. After use, pressing the flush button or triggering the automatic sensing device will cause water to wash away the waste, and the sewage will flow through the pipes to the septic tank or municipal sewage network. This sewage disposal method is suitable for various water-available environments, such as some temporary event venues in cities with complete water and electricity facilities. It has relatively low construction costs, is easy to operate similarly to ordinary toilets, and provides a good user experience.

Vacuum Sewage System: It utilizes the principle of negative pressure for sewage disposal. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to suck sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts and quickly sucks the sewage and waste into the collection container. This disposal method is highly efficient and uses very little water, effectively preventing sewage leakage and odor diffusion, and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the public toilet. It is suitable for venues with high environmental requirements and a need for cleanliness, such as high-end outdoor event venues and scenic spots.

Water-storage Sewage System: It also uses water-flushing to discharge waste into a water storage tank. When the water level in the water storage tank reaches a certain height, i.e., when the tank is full, personnel need to be arranged to clean and replace the water storage tank. This sewage disposal method is suitable for venues with sufficient water sources and easy cleaning, such as some outdoor construction sites near water sources with convenient transportation.

Biodegradation System: It adopts advanced biodegradation technology, using specific microorganisms to convert organic matter in sewage into harmless substances for discharge. This disposal method is very environmentally friendly and can minimize the pollution of sewage to the environment. It is suitable for outdoor venues with extremely high environmental requirements, such as nature reserves and eco-tourism areas.
