Outdoor Mobile Toilet Materials
Admin September 21, 2026
The materials for outdoor mobile toilets mainly include two categories: main body materials and component materials. The material selection varies for different types of toilets.

Regarding main body materials:
- Fiberglass-reinforced plastic mobile toilets: The main body material is epoxy resin and glass fiber. Epoxy resin has excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and mechanical properties, while glass fiber enhances the strength and rigidity of the material. The composite fiberglass-reinforced plastic material is lightweight, strong, corrosion-resistant, and easy to mold, making it suitable for constructing the main structure of mobile toilets and meeting the requirements for outdoor use.
- Color-steel plate mobile toilets: They primarily use color-steel plates as the main body material. Color-steel plates are steel plates with an organic coating, offering advantages such as corrosion resistance, aesthetics, and ease of processing. The surface coating protects the steel plate from external environmental erosion, extending its service life. Additionally, color-steel plates come in a variety of colors, allowing for selection based on different needs to enhance the appearance of mobile toilets.
Regarding component materials:
- Fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal units): They are usually made of high-strength plastics or stainless steel. High-strength plastics are corrosion-resistant, have good sealing properties, and are lightweight, effectively storing fecal sewage and preventing leakage and odor emission. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, strong, and easy to clean, suitable for places with high hygiene requirements.
- Flooring: Generally, slip-resistant, wear-resistant, and easy-to-clean materials are selected, such as slip-resistant tiles and plastic flooring. These materials ensure the safety of users while facilitating cleaning and maintenance to keep the interior of mobile toilets hygienic.
- Sanitary ware and washing equipment: They are mostly made of ceramics, plastics, or stainless steel. Ceramic sanitary ware has a smooth surface, is easy to clean, and is aesthetically pleasing. Plastic sanitary ware is lightweight and inexpensive. Stainless steel sanitary ware is corrosion-resistant, strong, and has a long service life.
- Water tanks: They are usually made of plastic or metal materials. Plastic water tanks are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and inexpensive. Metal water tanks are strong and have good pressure resistance, and can be selected according to actual needs.
- Roofs: Generally, waterproof and weather-resistant materials are used, such as color-steel plates and polycarbonate sheets. Color-steel plate roofs are waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and aesthetically pleasing. Polycarbonate sheets have good light transmittance, are lightweight, and impact-resistant, providing good lighting and protection for mobile toilets.
- Mobile devices: They are mostly made of steel or aluminum alloys to ensure strength and stability, facilitating the handling and installation of mobile toilets.
