Outdoor Mobile Toilet Installation Process

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation process of outdoor mobile toilets mainly includes four stages: pre-installation preparation, main body installation, detail handling, and post-installation maintenance. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Site Confirmation: Choose a flat and solid ground, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation. Ensure that there is at least a 0.5-meter operating space around the site for subsequent debugging and maintenance.
  2. Tool Preparation: Check whether the basic tools provided by the lessor, such as wrenches and screwdrivers, are complete. Supplement auxiliary tools such as anti-slip gloves, tape measures, electric drills (with 4.2-millimeter drill bits), and rivet guns according to the type of toilet.
  3. Personnel Coordination: Arrange for dedicated personnel to cooperate on-site, designate the work area, and prohibit unrelated personnel from entering to ensure a safe and orderly installation process.

II. Main Body Installation Steps of Mobile Toilets

  1. Main Body Positioning: Move the toilet main body to the designated position by lifting or dragging. Adjust the bottom legs (if any) to make the body level and avoid tilting, which may cause poor drainage or structural damage.
  2. Drainage Connection: Open the bottom drainage outlet, use a dedicated pipe to connect it to the municipal sewer or a designated collection pool, test the drainage smoothness, and check the interface seal to prevent leakage.
  3. Water and Electricity Connection:
    • Power: When external lighting, fans, and other equipment are required, have a professional electrician perform the operation. Unauthorized wiring is strictly prohibited to avoid the risk of electric shock.
    • Water Source: If equipped with a flushing system, connect it to a clean water source, ensuring stable water pressure and no leakage at the interface.
  4. Internal Inspection: Test whether functions such as the door lock, flushing button, and emergency call device are normal. Remove sharp objects or debris inside to prevent user injury.

III. Detail Installation for Some Toilets

For toilet types that require splicing, the following additional steps are required:

  1. Use an electric drill to drill holes at the designated positions, insert rivets, and fix the panel interfaces with a rivet gun.
  2. Install the inner corner pieces onto the frame one by one, ensuring that the panels are aligned after being inserted into the slots to avoid structural looseness.

IV. Post-installation Precautions

  1. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean up garbage and accumulated water inside and outside the toilet, place a 'Cleaned' sign to enhance the user experience.
  2. Usage Training: Request the lessor to demonstrate operations such as the flushing method and the location of the emergency button to avoid equipment damage caused by misoperation.
  3. Regular Inspections: During the event, check the drainage, electrical circuits, and structural stability daily. If blockages or damage are found, contact for repair immediately to ensure continuous availability.

Tip: Before installation, carefully read the instruction manual provided by the lessor. Different toilet models may have detail differences. Strictly following the operating specifications can extend the service life of the equipment and reduce safety risks.
