Outdoor Mobile Toilet Ground Anchor Fixation

Admin October 19, 2026

Ground anchor fixation for outdoor mobile toilets is an important measure to ensure their stability. Different regions can adopt the following methods according to actual conditions:

Xinxiang Region:

  1. Fixed Point Selection: Install ground anchors preferably at the four corners or key load-bearing positions of the toilet to ensure even force distribution.
  2. Connection Method: Use expansion screws or ground anchor pins to firmly connect the fixing chains (straps) to the ground, preventing loosening.
  3. Weight Enhancement: If space permits, concrete blocks or weight blocks can be driven into the bottom of the toilet to increase overall stability.
  4. Depth Requirement: The depth of the ground anchors should exceed 30 centimeters to ensure sufficient pull-out resistance and prevent displacement due to external forces (such as strong winds).

Jiujiang Region:

  1. Ground Anchor Installation: Install ground anchors at the four corners or key load-bearing points of the public toilet, using expansion screws or concrete pouring for fixation to ensure a tight bond between the ground anchors and the ground.
  2. Tension Structure: Use steel wire ropes with a diameter of over 5mm to connect the ground anchors to the top of the public toilet, forming a triangular tension structure to distribute forces and enhance wind resistance.
  3. Tension Rope Adjustment: The tension ropes should be kept moderately tight to avoid structural loosening due to excessive looseness or component damage due to excessive tightness. Spring clips can be installed at both ends for easy adjustment and maintenance in the later stage.

Yingtan Region:

  1. Professional Ground Anchor Fixation: After the equipment is in place, use professional ground anchors for fixation to ensure installation accuracy and stability.
  2. Bottom Reinforcement: Enhance bottom stability through expansion screws or weight sandbags. It is recommended to equip each toilet with 4 fixed points to form a symmetrical force system.
  3. Regular Inspection: Regularly inspect the condition of ground anchors, connectors, and weights, and promptly repair any loose or damaged parts to ensure long-term safety in use.

General Precautions:

  • Before fixation, evaluate ground conditions (such as soil hardness and flatness) and choose an appropriate fixation method.
  • Avoid installation on soft or easily waterlogged ground. If necessary, carry out ground hardening treatment.
  • Before extreme weather conditions (such as typhoons or heavy rain), strengthen inspections to ensure the reliability of the ground anchor system.
