Outdoor Mobile Toilet Bedpan Installation
Admin September 29, 2026
The installation of outdoor mobile toilet bedpans requires selecting appropriate methods based on specific types and scenarios. The core steps include foundation fixing, sealing treatment, water and electricity connection, and acceptance testing. The specific operations are as follows:

I. Installation of 304 Stainless Steel Large-Diameter Dry Toilet Squat Pan
- Ground Adaptation
- Confirm the size of the squat pit: a diameter of 150 - 200mm, a length of 50 - 60cm, and a width of 30 - 35cm. If the pit is too small, use tools to slightly chisel and expand the ground to the appropriate size.
- Use cement to level the ground around the squat pit, with an error controlled within 3mm, to avoid the toilet tilting or having poor sealing due to an uneven ground. Clean up debris in the pit to ensure there are no gravel, dust, or other impurities that affect the installation.
- Fixing and Sealing
- Place the toilet into the squat pit and adjust its position. Mark the edges with a marker pen and then remove it. Apply weather-resistant silicone sealant (neutral sealant) evenly within the marked lines, with a thickness of about 2 - 3mm, ensuring the sealant layer covers the entire contact surface.
- Put the toilet back and gently press it to make the sealant fully adhere to the ground. Drill 4 - 6 expansion screw holes (using a stainless-steel special drill bit) at the bottom edge of the toilet, and screw in 304 stainless-steel rust-proof expansion screws until they are firm to prevent the toilet from shifting.
- Final Inspection
- Let the sealant cure completely for 24 hours. After curing, pour a small amount of water to test for leaks. If there is water seepage, reapply the sealant and retest.
- Ensure that the sewage outlet is aligned with the fecal bucket or septic tank, and seal the gaps tightly with sealant to prevent odor leakage or sewage overflow.
II. On-Site Installation Process for Single Mobile Toilets
- Foundation Fixing
- Lift the toilet body to the designated position and adjust it to be level using a level gauge, with a deviation of ≤3mm. If the ground is uneven, achieve levelness by adjusting the support feet or shims.
- Fix the equipment with expansion bolts or counterweights to ensure that the toilet will not move or tilt due to external forces (such as wind or human activities) during use.
- Water and Electricity Connection
- Connect the sewage pipe to the sewer or sewage collection bucket, with a pipe slope of ≥2% to ensure that sewage can be discharged smoothly without residue. Connect the water supply (water pipe ≥ DN20) and test the flushing function and drainage sealing to avoid leaks or blockages.
- Detail Inspection
- Install accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, and check the flexibility of the door lock and flushing button to ensure convenient use. Clean and disinfect the interior and place consumables (such as toilet paper and garbage bags) to enhance the user experience.
III. General Installation Precautions
- Site Planning
- Avoid low-lying areas with water accumulation, high-voltage lines, and obstacle areas. Ensure that the width of the access passage is ≥1.2 meters and reserve operating space for easy installation and subsequent maintenance.
- Safety Regulations
- Wear a safety harness for high-altitude work. Installation is prohibited in windy weather (wind speed ≥ 5 levels). Keep away from fire sources, and do not smoke or use open flames in the toilet to prevent the risk of fire or explosion.
- Acceptance Testing
- Press the flushing button three times continuously to test the drainage smoothness and evenly step on the top of the equipment to test the structural stability, ensuring that the toilet can be used normally without safety hazards.
