Fixation of Bedpan in Outdoor Mobile Toilets

Admin October 05, 2026

The fixation of the bedpan in outdoor mobile toilets requires selecting an appropriate method based on the toilet structure, ground material, and usage environment. Common solutions include factory pre-fixation and on-site reinforcement.

If the mobile toilet is a finished product and the bedpan (such as a ceramic squat toilet) has been fixed through integrated production at the factory, it is usually connected stably using a steel structure frame or sealed waterproof treatment. This type of design has passed structural mechanics tests and does not require additional reinforcement. However, it is necessary to regularly check whether the frame connections are loose or corroded, especially when exposed to a humid environment for a long time.

If you need to fix the bedpan yourself, you can refer to the following methods:

  1. Fixation with neutral anti-mold glass glue: Suitable for smooth ground surfaces (such as tiles and metal plates). After cleaning the ground and the bottom of the bedpan, evenly apply glass glue along the contact surface and press to fix it for more than 24 hours until the glue is completely cured. Advantages: simple operation and no damage to the ground; Disadvantages: long-term load-bearing or frequent movement may cause the glue to crack, requiring regular reapplication.
  2. Fixation with expansion screws: Suitable for concrete or hard ground surfaces. Drill holes at the installation positions of the bedpan, insert the expansion screws and tighten them, ensuring that the screw length does not exceed the ground thickness. Advantages: strong load-bearing capacity and high stability; Disadvantages: drilling is required, which may damage the ground waterproof layer, and waterproof glue needs to be used to treat the gaps.
  3. Combined fixation method: For high-frequency usage scenarios (such as scenic spots and construction sites), first fix the bedpan bracket with expansion screws, and then fill glass glue or rubber pads between the bracket and the bedpan to balance structural strength and shock absorption.

Precautions:

  • In outdoor environments, focus on waterproofing and rust prevention. Metal components (such as screws and brackets) should be made of stainless steel, and waterproof glue should be applied at the connections.
  • The ground material directly affects the fixation method. For soft ground surfaces (such as soil and sand), a concrete foundation should be poured first before fixing the bedpan.
  • Before operation, read the design instructions of the mobile toilet to confirm the connection method between the bedpan and the toilet body and avoid damaging the original structure.
  • If you are unsure about the fixation plan, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer for technical guidance to ensure safety and compliance.
