Outdoor Mobile Public Toilet Materials
The commonly used materials for outdoor mobile public toilets mainly include four categories: main structural materials, interior wall and floor materials, other commonly used materials, and eco-friendly and detail materials.

Main Structural Materials
The main structure serves as the supporting framework of the public toilet, typically utilizing galvanized steel pipes or lightweight steel structures as the framework, which are characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance. For the walls, sandwich panels are predominantly used, such as color-coated steel sandwich panels or composite panels, composed of color-coated steel or aluminum plates combined with polystyrene, rock wool, or polyurethane foam. These materials offer both thermal insulation properties and are lightweight, facilitating easy transportation and installation, suitable for both temporary and long-term outdoor settings.Interior Wall and Floor Materials
Interior wall materials must meet the requirements of easy cleaning and moisture resistance, commonly featuring high-density PVC panels or stainless steel panels. PVC panels have a smooth surface and are resistant to acid and alkali corrosion; stainless steel panels offer higher strength and a modern appearance, suitable for places with strict hygiene requirements. Floor materials primarily consist of non-slip patterned aluminum plates or rubber flooring, with some high-end versions incorporating a fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) anti-corrosion layer to prevent leakage and odor diffusion, ensuring safety and hygiene during use.Other Commonly Used Materials
- Color-coated Steel Panels: Composed of color-coated steel sheets combined with foam, rock wool, or other core materials, they are lightweight and easy to install, commonly used in temporary event venues or construction sites.
- Stainless Steel: With high strength and corrosion resistance, it has a simple appearance and is suitable for parks, squares, and other settings with high aesthetic and hygiene requirements.
- FRP (Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic): Made from glass fibers and synthetic resins, it is lightweight yet strong, resistant to corrosion and aging, suitable for complex environments such as tourist attractions and coastal areas.
- Wooden Materials: Typically using preservative-treated wood, it offers a natural and warm ambiance, suitable for parks, resorts, and other scenic areas, but requires regular maintenance to prevent decay.
Eco-friendly and Detail Materials
Water tanks and sewage pipes are mostly made of PE (polyethylene) material, which is tough and resistant to low temperatures, ensuring long-term use without cracking. The interior walls of smart eco-toilets may use photocatalytic coatings to decompose odors through photocatalysis, improving air quality. Hardware components (such as door panels and locks) are mostly made of engineering plastics or stainless steel, balancing durability and cost to avoid frequent replacements.
Material selection should comprehensively consider the usage scenario, budget, aesthetic requirements, as well as portability, durability, and hygiene standards. For example, temporary event venues may prioritize color-coated steel panels or PVC panels to reduce costs; tourist attractions are more suitable for FRP or preservative-treated wood to blend in with the natural environment.
