Outdoor Equipment Portable Toilet
An outdoor equipment portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole, set up in outdoor locations, and provides toilet services for the public and customers.

I. Basic Components A portable toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. Its materials have evolved from wood to new materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene, enhancing durability and portability.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: Portable toilets are divided into single-structure and composite-structure types. Single-structure toilets are usually independent units suitable for small-scale needs; composite-structure toilets are composed of multiple units and can be expanded into multiple toilet stalls or multi-functional areas.
- By moving method: They are classified as lifting and handling portable toilets and powered and towed portable toilets. The former rely on lifting equipment or manual handling and are suitable for short-distance movement; the latter are equipped with power systems or towing devices and can be transported over long distances by vehicles.
- By sewage treatment method: They are categorized as water-flush and waterless-flush suction types, circulating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. Water-flush types rely on water tanks for water supply and flush excreta through pipes; waterless-flush types use suction equipment to regularly clean feces; circulating water-flush types reuse water resources through filtration systems; dry-packing types use biodegradable garbage bags to collect excreta without the need for a water source.
III. Core Features Portable toilets have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. They can be quickly deployed to outdoor locations such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, and large construction sites, effectively making up for the shortage or unreasonable layout of urban public toilets. Their modular design supports the addition or removal of toilet stalls or functional areas according to needs, such as adding barrier-free facilities or母婴室 (nursing rooms).
IV. Typical Application Scenarios
- Portable portable toilet tents: Equipped with folding toilets, curing agents, and garbage bags, they are suitable for emergency self-driving trips or temporary events.
- Steel-frame portable toilets: They can be customized in appearance (such as metal carved walls and ridge-shaped designs) and functions (such as open washing areas), and are commonly found in scenic spots or high-end locations.
- Four-stall portable toilets: They feature thermal-insulated metal carved panel exterior walls and are internally equipped with stalls, urinals, and column basins, suitable for cold regions or high-traffic scenarios.
