Essential Portable Toilets for Outdoor Camping
Essential portable toilets for outdoor camping mainly include Thetford portable toilets, folding toilets, and outdoor changing tent toilets.
Thetford Portable Toilet: Its design principle is the same as that of the toilet in a recreational vehicle. When using it, you need to pour 100 milliliters of cleaning solution into the freshwater tank and then fill it with water; pour 150 milliliters of deodorizing solution and a little water into the wastewater tank, and then it can be used normally. It uses a push-button flushing method. After using the toilet, both solid and liquid waste will be decomposed in the black water tank without producing any odor. This toilet is suitable for people who have high hygiene requirements and want a relatively comfortable toilet experience during camping. However, it is relatively large in size, requires a certain amount of space for carrying, and needs to have the black water tank cleaned regularly, with relatively complex operations.
Folding Toilet: When opened, it has the shape of a household toilet and is relatively convenient to use. It comes with garbage bags and coagulants. After using the toilet, collect the waste in garbage bags and add coagulants to prevent odor emission and waste leakage. The advantages of a folding toilet are its small size, easy portability and storage, and it does not take up much space. It is suitable for camping situations with limited space or when the camping location needs to be changed frequently. However, its comfort may be slightly inferior to that of the Thetford portable toilet, and the garbage bags need to be replaced regularly, which may be a bit inconvenient when disposing of the garbage.
Outdoor Changing Tent Toilet: It offers a variety of styles and price options. For example, the outdoor shower tent, camping changing tent, thickened and warm changing and showering tent, simple shower cover, and quick-open toilet from Hebei Yufengxing Outdoor Products Co., Ltd. is priced at 49 yuan with 138 units sold per month; the outdoor shower tent, thickened and warm single-layer mobile toilet, portable folding changing tent from Baoding Jinshi Outdoor Products Co., Ltd. is priced at 100 yuan with 1674 units sold per month, etc. This type of tent toilet can provide a relatively private space. You can place a portable toilet or a folding toilet inside, or you can directly solve the excretion problem inside and collect the waste in garbage bags. Its advantages are its relatively large space, good privacy, and relatively affordable price. However, it takes a certain amount of time to set up and dismantle, and you need to choose a relatively flat ground for setting it up.
