Open-air Mobile Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

An open-air mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed in fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services to the public.

Suitable Locations: Open-air mobile toilets have a wide range of applications. At transportation hubs such as train stations and docks, where there is a large and constantly changing flow of people, these toilets can promptly meet the toilet needs of travelers. In tourist attractions with a high number of visitors, especially in outdoor scenic spots, open-air mobile toilets can be reasonably arranged to enhance the tourist experience. In villa areas and newly built residential communities where supporting facilities are not yet complete, these toilets can address the urgent needs of residents. On large construction sites with a concentrated workforce, open-air mobile toilets are convenient for workers to use. In squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets with a high density of people, these toilets can effectively alleviate toilet pressure.

Composition Structure: Generally, they consist of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. The fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and store fecal sewage, while the fecal sewage treatment device can process the sewage. The floor slab ensures the safety and hygiene of users. Sanitary ware such as toilets and squat pans are the core equipment for using the toilet. The walls serve to separate and protect privacy. Washing equipment facilitates user cleaning. The water tank provides water for flushing. The roof can shield from wind and rain. The mobile device enables the overall movement of the toilet.

Type Classification: According to the structural form, they are divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. According to the moving method, they are divided into hoisting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. According to the sewage treatment method, they are divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. In addition, there are mobile toilets of different styles, such as pastoral-style mobile toilets with a thatched roof and a spacious rain-proof area, equipped with public washbasins and beauty mirrors; special-shaped mobile toilets with a brick-patterned flat roof, a galvanized steel frame overall, and orange brick-patterned exterior wall panels; and four-squat-position mobile toilets with a length of 4 meters, a width of 2.3 meters, a pointed roof, and metal carved panels for thermal insulation on the exterior walls.
