North Area Container House Installation

Admin September 15, 2026

The installation of container houses in the North Area requires selecting corresponding plans based on specific types. Common installation methods include assembled, foldable, and modular packing-box installations, with core steps covering foundation preparation, frame construction, component fixation, and interior configuration.

I. Assembled Container House Installation

  1. Bottom Frame Installation: Operate on a flat ground or workbench. Connect the bottom corners of the container to the bottom beams using hexagon socket bolts without tightening them initially. After adjusting the diagonal difference of the bottom frame to be ≤3mm, tighten the bolts.
  2. Secondary Beam and Floor Installation: Install π-shaped secondary beams according to the positioning holes on the long beams and fix them with self-tapping screws. Lay the floor baseboard along the 6-meter direction, with both ends cut at the chalk line. The splicing point should align with the centerline of the π-shaped beam and be fixed with cross-flat-head dovetail screws, with a nail spacing of 300-350mm.
  3. Floor Treatment: Sand the seams of the floor as a whole, apply PVC special floor adhesive, lay the floor covering, and expel the air. The splicing points can be welded.

II. Foldable Container House Installation

  1. Frame Unfolding: Check the stability of the steel wire ropes, lift the main frame and unfold it smoothly, and place support rods in the middle of the container to maintain stability.
  2. Wall Installation: Push open one wall and fix it with fastening screws, then push open the wall with doors and windows and tighten the screws.
  3. Lifting and Positioning: Lift the foldable container house to the predetermined position, ensure there is no one around, and then lower it. Non-professionals should stay away from the installation area throughout the process.

III. Modular Packing-Box Installation

  1. Rapid Deployment: Adopt a modular design for easy transportation. No complex foundation construction is required during installation, and the entire process from foundation to ready-for-occupancy can be completed in as fast as 1 day.
  2. Interior Configuration: Integrate facilities such as water and electricity, doors and windows, ceilings, and floors. It supports repeated disassembly and reuse, with a service life of up to 20 years.

IV. Safety and Regulatory Requirements

  1. Material Fire Resistance: For example, the student dormitory project in the New North Area uses rock wool wall panels and fire-resistant gypsum boards with a combustion performance rating of Class A, equipped with qualified leakage protection switches.
  2. Compliance: Avoid placing container houses randomly in residential areas. For example, a container in Qiaocheng District, Bozhou City was removed due to affecting traffic. It is necessary to comply with local urban construction management regulations.
