No-Water Mobile Toilet
A no-water mobile toilet, also known as a waterless flushing sanitary toilet, is an environmentally friendly toilet that can handle waste without the need for traditional water flushing. The following provides a detailed introduction from the aspects of definition, applicable scenarios, technical principles, structural composition, and classification.

Definition and Names: No-water mobile toilets use physical, biological, or chemical technologies to replace the water-flushing function. In China, they are commonly referred to as eco-friendly toilets, ecological toilets, or mobile toilets. Internationally, the general term is non-sewered sanitary toilets.
Applicable Scenarios: These toilets are mainly suitable for places without water supply and drainage systems, such as construction sites. Toilet management at construction sites faces many challenges. Traditional toilets are limited by the pipeline network and can only be installed in one fixed location, making sanitation and cleaning difficult and prone to unsanitary conditions. In contrast, no-water mobile toilets can break free from the constraints of the water supply network and are suitable for various scenarios where conventional public toilets cannot be installed, effectively solving the toilet problems in places like construction sites.
Technical Principles: Some no-water mobile toilets are equipped with composite microbial communities inside. These can operate stably even at low temperatures of 40°C and achieve the biodegradation of excreta. This technology not only reduces water consumption but also lowers the difficulty and cost of waste treatment while being more environmentally friendly.
Structural Composition: A no-water mobile toilet generally consists of multiple parts, including a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, a water tank (some types may not require a water tank), roof, and mobile device. These components work together to enable the normal use and mobility of the toilet.
Classification: According to different wastewater treatment methods, no-water mobile toilets can be divided into various types, such as water-flushing and waterless-flushing suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Different types of toilets are suitable for different scenarios and needs, and users can choose according to the actual situation.
