Usage Guide for Night Market Mobile Toilets
Admin October 11, 2026
The use of night market mobile toilets requires selecting the appropriate operation based on the type and paying attention to sewage disposal, internal configuration usage, and maintenance points, as detailed below:

1. Confirm the toilet type and sewage disposal method
Night market mobile toilets are mainly divided into three types: simple, flush, and ecological. Before use, it is necessary to identify the type to match the operation:
- Simple type: Relies on chemical agents to decompose excrement, suitable for short-term events. Before use, add chemical agents to the fecal storage tank according to the instructions (standard volume of 200-500 liters, can meet the daily usage of 50-125 people), and regularly clean the fecal storage tank to avoid agent failure or capacity overrun.
- Flush type: Requires connection to municipal water sources or the use of an onboard water tank, suitable for medium- to long-term use. If connected to the municipal water network, ensure a secure connection; if using a water tank, regularly replenish clean water and clean the septic tank. Some flush types use vacuum negative pressure technology (to reduce water consumption) or foam sealing technology (foam liquid covers excrement to isolate odors), requiring checks to ensure sufficient foam liquid.
- Ecological type: Uses microbial degradation or dry separation technology, without the need for external sewage pipes. Microbial degradation types require regular addition of bacterial strains to maintain decomposition efficiency; dry separation types require cleaning of solid excrement collection containers to avoid blockages.
2. Proper use of internal configurations
Basic models are typically equipped with toilets, sinks, lighting, and ventilation equipment, while high-end versions may include additional auxiliary facilities such as air conditioners and handrails for the disabled:
- Toilet use: Use the toilet as usual. For flush types, gently press the flush button (avoid excessive force that may damage the equipment); simple and ecological types do not require flushing, but pay attention to the amount of excrement to avoid exceeding the capacity of the fecal storage tank or collection container.
- Sink use: Flush types can directly use clean water for hand washing; simple types, if not equipped with a water source, require the use of onboard disinfectant or wet wipes to clean hands.
- Ventilation and lighting: After use, close doors and windows to prevent odor diffusion; if equipped with an exhaust fan, turn it on to maintain air circulation; for night use, turn on lighting equipment to avoid bumps or falls.
3. Maintenance and inspection points
- Main structure: Regularly check the stability of the steel structure main body to avoid loosening or leakage at the joints due to shaking; clean and maintain the exterior wall materials (such as stainless steel, carved panels) to prevent stain corrosion or affect aesthetics.
- Module sealing: For modular mobile toilets, check whether the module joints are sealed to prevent sewage leakage or odor escape; if the sealing strips are found to be aged or damaged, replace them promptly.
- Equipment operation: Check whether the flush button, exhaust fan, lighting, and other equipment are operating normally. If a fault is found, report it for repair promptly to avoid affecting subsequent use.
