Mobile Toilets for National Day Ceremony
The arrangements for mobile toilets during the National Day ceremony vary depending on the location and nature of the event, mainly falling into three categories: activities related to Tiananmen Square, the National Day flag-raising ceremony at Nanchang Bayi Square in 2025, and Dinghai Mamu Windmill Camp.

For activities related to Tiananmen Square, Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group placed 596 mobile toilets in the surrounding areas of Tiananmen and along Chang'an Avenue. The toilet seats for these toilets come from 3,540 newly produced seats and 1,505 repaired seats. Mobile toilets are divided into three types: Tent toilets are placed in areas with the highest foot traffic. They feature a creamy-white roof, spacious interiors, and high turnover efficiency. The partitions in the restrooms are raised to 1.6 meters, and they are equipped with sinks and toilet paper, providing a relatively comfortable restroom environment for visitors. Trailer toilets resemble cars in shape and are placed in open areas for easy mobility, allowing for flexible adjustments in position according to actual needs. Standalone toilets are installed near relatively narrow alleys to accommodate different terrains and spatial requirements. Additionally, the signboards of mobile toilets are detachable, enabling adjustments to the number of male and female toilet seats based on the on-site gender ratio of restroom users. After removing the signboards and partitions, a toilet can be reconfigured in just a few minutes, improving usage efficiency.
At the National Day flag-raising ceremony at Nanchang Bayi Square in 2025, the arrangement of mobile toilets is clear-cut. There are 15 standalone public toilets on the north and west sides of Bayi Square, and 3 mobile toilet vehicles on the east side. This layout takes full account of the visitor flow and restroom needs in different areas of the square.
Dinghai Mamu Windmill Camp addresses the restroom needs of visitors during holidays by adding mobile temporary toilets during the National Day holiday period to meet the basic needs of visitors during their visit and enhance their overall experience.
