General Configuration of Disabled Rooms in Mobile Toilets

In the design of mobile toilets, to meet the usage needs of the disabled, dedicated disabled rooms are usually set up. Disabled rooms generally have the following characteristics:

• Spacious Space: The interior space of disabled rooms is relatively large to facilitate the free rotation and operation of wheelchairs. Generally, their area is larger than that of ordinary mobile toilet compartments to ensure that the disabled do not feel cramped during use.
• Barrier-Free Facilities: Equipped with barrier-free handrails to facilitate the disabled in exerting force when getting up, sitting down, and performing other actions. At the same time, the height and design of the sink also take into account the convenience of use for the disabled. Usually, a lower height is adopted, and sufficient space is left below to allow wheelchairs to approach.
• Special Door Design: The doors of disabled rooms generally open outwards. In this way, in case of an emergency, external personnel can enter more easily for rescue. Moreover, the width of the doors is also wider than that of ordinary doors to accommodate the entry and exit of wheelchairs.
