Nanchang Container House Materials

Admin September 13, 2026

Common materials for Nanchang container houses include aluminum alloy, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, wood, stainless steel, as well as PVC panels, rock wool rolls, corrugated sheets, channel steel, square steel, and more.

Aluminum alloy is one of the commonly used materials for Nanchang container houses. Its core advantages are light weight and ease of handling and construction, making it especially suitable for scenarios that require rapid assembly or relocation. After surface oxidation treatment, a dense oxide film forms, offering high corrosion resistance and long-term protection against moisture, salt spray, and similar environmental attack. In addition, aluminum alloy has good elasticity, resists deformation under impact, and has relatively low processing and repair costs, resulting in lower overall costs.

Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) is based on glass-fiber-reinforced plastic and features high strength and high rigidity, allowing it to bear large loads without deforming. It offers generous interior volume suitable for designing large-space houses; excellent thermal insulation that effectively reduces indoor-outdoor heat exchange and lowers energy consumption; and good chemical corrosion resistance for harsh acidic or alkaline environments. For daily cleaning, the smooth surface resists dust buildup; repairs require only localized patching and are simple and convenient.

Wood is often used in container houses for interior finishing or structural support. It has high mechanical strength, can bear certain loads, and resists mechanical damage, making it less likely to crack from impact. As a renewable resource, wood is recyclable and reusable, aligning with green environmental principles. Its natural grain is also visually appealing and can enhance the visual comfort of a house, though moisture protection is needed to extend service life.

Stainless steel is a preferred material for high-end container houses. It offers a solid structure and good watertightness, with excellent weldability that helps ensure overall sealing and prevent rainwater leakage. After polishing or sandblasting, it has high aesthetic appeal, suitable for commercial display or high-end residential settings. Stainless steel has outstanding chemical resistance against most acids and alkalis; strong durability with a service life of decades; high strength and excellent fire resistance to better meet safety requirements.

Other materials such as PVC panels are often used for interior wall decoration, featuring waterproofing, moisture resistance, and easy cleaning; rock wool rolls serve as insulation layers that effectively improve thermal performance; corrugated sheets are commonly used for roofs or exterior walls, combining strength with lightweight advantages; channel steel and square steel serve as primary support materials for the structural frame, ensuring overall stability. Combined according to functional needs, these materials can create safe, comfortable, and durable container houses.
