Nanan Prefabricated Houses
Nanan has made remarkable progress in the field of prefabricated houses, covering practical cases, the introduction of industrial bases, and future plans.

Practical Case: Rapid Construction of a Prefabricated Villa
In Dayong Village, Luncang Town, Nanan, there is a three-story prefabricated villa that completed the construction of its main structure in just 2 days. Its main structure is assembled from prefabricated panels using mortise-and-tenon joints and high-strength bolts. The entire house has no large beams or columns and is entirely supported by the prefabricated panels. The walls are pre-made and assembled like building blocks, with a total of 44 wall panels. This construction method significantly shortens the construction period, demonstrating the advantages of prefabricated houses in rapid construction.
Introduction of Industrial Base: Promoting the Upgrade of the Construction Industry
Nanan City has successfully introduced a large-scale prefabricated construction industrial base project with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and covering an area of 300 acres, located in the Nanan Economic Development Zone. The industrial base adopts internationally advanced production equipment and processes and plans to build multiple intelligent production lines. It is expected to produce 500,000 cubic meters of prefabricated concrete components and 100,000 tons of steel structural components annually, meeting the material needs of prefabricated buildings in Quanzhou and surrounding areas. The prefabricated components produced by the base cover various types, including prefabricated beams, panels, columns, stairs, and balconies, with precision errors controlled at the millimeter level. The production cycle can be shortened by 30% - 50% compared to traditional on-site pouring methods. In terms of green environmental protection, construction site waste emissions can be reduced by more than 80%, and dust and noise pollution are also significantly reduced. The industrial base is expected to be officially put into operation in 2026, creating more than 1,000 jobs for Nanan City and driving local economic development.
Future Plan: Building an Industrial Cluster and Increasing the Proportion
A relevant person in charge from the Nanan Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau stated that the introduction of the prefabricated construction industrial base is an important measure to promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. In the future, an prefabricated construction industrial cluster will be built around the base, attracting upstream and downstream enterprises to settle in and forming a complete industrial chain integrating R&D, design, production, construction, and operation and maintenance. At the same time, efforts will be made to increase the promotion of prefabricated buildings through policy support, demonstration project construction, and other means to increase the proportion of prefabricated buildings in newly constructed buildings. It is strived to achieve a proportion of more than 40% of prefabricated buildings in newly constructed buildings in Nanan City by 2028.
