Multi-Person Mobile Toilet Design

Admin September 27, 2026

The design of multi-person mobile toilets should be carried out from four core dimensions: modular structure, environmental protection technology, intelligent management, and all-age friendliness, taking into account both functionality and humanization needs.

1. Modular Structural Design

The main frame of the multi-person mobile toilet adopts hot-dip galvanized square tubes or light steel keels, which have wind resistance and rust prevention capabilities. The exterior walls use metal carved panels or color-coated steel plates, the interior walls are aluminum-plastic panels or bamboo fiber boards, and the roof is paved with asphalt shingles, providing excellent overall corrosion and wind resistance. The foundation is reinforced with anchor devices and concrete foundations, enabling it to withstand typhoons of magnitude 9 and earthquakes of magnitude 7. The standard size of a single toilet cubicle is 1.1 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 2.55 meters in height, and the number of toilet cubicles can be flexibly expanded through modular combinations. Each cubicle is equipped with an independent partition, including a toilet, flushing system, and ventilation device. The door panels are made of fire-resistant materials, and the floor is paved with anti-slip mats and equipped with handrails, ensuring both safety and practicality.

2. Application of Environmental Protection Technologies

The water-saving system adopts foam sealing technology, requiring only 0.01 liters of water per flush, achieving a water-saving rate of 98%; or through microbial degradation technology, using microbial communities to decompose feces into harmless substances within 5-7 days, achieving zero flushing. Sewage treatment is equipped with septic tanks or vacuum self-priming devices, with sewage pipes having a diameter of no less than 200 millimeters. In northern regions, electric auxiliary heating anti-freezing systems are installed to prevent pipe freezing. High-end models are also equipped with independent odor treatment devices, maintaining fresh air through activated carbon filtration or forced exhaust systems, with ammonia concentration controlled below 0.3 milligrams per cubic meter and hydrogen sulfide concentration below 0.01 milligrams per cubic meter.

3. Intelligent Management System

Through IoT technology, real-time monitoring of toilet cubicle usage status, energy consumption data, and equipment failures is carried out to improve management efficiency. Gravity sensing devices can verbally remind users of left-behind items when they leave and automatically activate disinfection sprays; temperature control systems ensure stable operation of equipment in extreme temperatures ranging from -35℃ to 50℃, with a control accuracy of ±1℃. Some models are also equipped with intelligent paper dispensers, ultraviolet disinfection lamps, and other devices to further optimize the user experience.

4. All-Age Friendly Design

The slope of barrier-free access should not exceed 2.7%, with a wheelchair turning space of at least 1.5 meters. The third toilet is equipped with child safety seats, call buttons, and folding nursing tables. Sanitary facilities include infrared automatic flushing devices and antibacterial handrails, and the environmental control system ensures air quality by monitoring gas concentrations in real-time. According to usage methods, they are divided into direct discharge type (connected to municipal sewage pipes) and sewage storage type (equipped with sewage collection tanks), and according to flushing methods, they are divided into water-flushing type and foam type, with the latter having significant water-saving effects and effectively inhibiting odor diffusion.
