Movable Toilets Abroad

Admin September 28, 2026

There are various types of movable toilets abroad, as detailed below:

I. Portable Toilets Designed by German designer Eva Tint, these toilets are characterized by ultra-portability and environmental friendliness. They have a leaf-like appearance and are made of special eco-friendly materials. When folded, they measure approximately 12×28 centimeters and can easily fit into a woman's handbag. Inside, they are equipped with super-absorbent agents that convert liquids into gels and prevent leakage, with usage instructions printed on the bottom. This design first gained attention during the 2008 European Cup for addressing the issue of long queues for women's public restrooms. In 2009, German companies began mass production, selling them in sets of three for 4.5 euros each in the European market. Initially targeted at female users, they later expanded to scenarios such as car travel and outdoor gatherings, with cleaning wipes provided for use and disposal as ordinary waste after use. As their application scenarios expanded, their portability and practicality gradually gained acceptance among more male users.

II. Dutch Fully Automatic Rotating Public Toilets Located on the streets of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, these toilets are designed with efficient cleaning and seamless rotation as highlights. The public toilets house two sets of toilets inside. When the user steps out of the cabin, the entire cleaning process starts simultaneously, with the floor initiating a full flush mode to ensure a clean environment after each use. This design reduces manual maintenance costs through automated cleaning processes while improving the usage efficiency of public restrooms, making it particularly suitable for high-traffic urban public areas.

III. Trailer-Mounted Movable Toilets Commonly found in foreign tourist attractions, these toilets are characterized by comprehensive functionality and user-friendly design. They are typically composed of movable trailers or caravans, with internal facilities including sinks, toilets, showers, etc. Some premium models are also equipped with air conditioning and heating. The design fully considers the needs of different groups, featuring facilities for disabled individuals and being equipped with cleaning equipment and water sources for timely cleaning and disinfection. They have a simple and stylish appearance, offer a variety of models and specifications, and provide free tissues, charging sockets, and other convenient facilities to meet the diverse needs of tourists in outdoor scenarios.
