Movable Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

A movable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide toilet services for the public and customers.

Suitable Locations: Movable toilets have a wide range of applications. They can be installed in stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These places often have a high volume of pedestrian traffic, and the demand for toilet facilities is temporary or periodic. Movable toilets can well meet such demands.

Component Structure: Generally, they consist of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. These components work together to achieve the basic functions of a movable toilet, such as storing fecal sewage, providing toilet space, and ensuring hygiene conditions.

Development History: Initially, movable toilets were made of materials like wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. With technological progress, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene, which offer better durability, airtightness, and odor resistance.

Classification Methods:

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure movable toilets and composite-structure movable toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
  • By moving method: They are classified into lifting and handling movable toilets and powered and towed movable toilets. Lifting and handling toilets are suitable for short-distance movement or installation with the help of lifting equipment; powered and towed toilets can be moved over longer distances by means such as vehicle traction.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction movable toilets, circulating water-flush movable toilets, and dry-packing movable toilets. Different treatment methods are suitable for different environments and needs. For example, water-flush toilets offer an experience closer to that of traditional toilets, while dry-packing toilets do not require a water source and are suitable for water-scarce areas.

Special Types: There are also eco-friendly real-foaming movable toilets that can be towed. They use solid tires, are not afraid of nail punctures, have three steps, and are equipped with microbial eco-friendly vacuum foaming squat toilets. There are also movable toilets with a stool-type flip cover design, which are odor-resistant, easy to clean, and can be used with garbage bags. They can be placed in living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
