Dimensions of Movable Public Toilets

Admin October 13, 2026

The dimensions of movable public toilets vary depending on the type and requirements, with common specifications as follows:

Single toilet cubicle dimensions are designed to meet basic activity space needs. Its length typically ranges from 1 meter to 1.5 meters, width from 85 centimeters to 1.2 meters, and height generally from 2.2 meters to 2.5 meters. For the external dimensions of common single-cubicle specifications, the length is mostly between 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters, width between 1.0 meter and 1.2 meters, and height maintained between 2.2 meters and 2.5 meters. These dimensions are suitable for independently used mobile toilet units, balancing space utilization and user comfort.

Overall public toilet dimensions need to balance transportation convenience and functional completeness. Common specifications are 2 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 2 meters in height, covering an area of approximately 5 to 10 square meters, facilitating transportation by trucks or temporary placement. In multi-cubicle combined mobile public toilets, the length of two-cubicle units may extend to 2.4 meters to 3.0 meters, with width still maintained at 1.0 meter to 1.2 meters; large box-type mobile public toilets can be over 6 meters in length and exceed 2.5 meters in width, such as a prefabricated mobile restroom measuring 2.5 meters by 6.5 meters, which can accommodate more functional areas.

Accessible toilet cubicle dimensions must meet the needs of wheelchair passage and turning. Its clear dimensions should be at least 1.8 meters by 1.5 meters, and a 1.5-meter square turning space for wheelchairs must be reserved. The door width must be at least 80 centimeters, with preference given to outward-opening or electric door designs to ensure wheelchair users can enter and exit smoothly in emergencies. This design reflects care for special populations and complies with accessible facility specifications.

Urinal station dimensions are oriented towards space-saving. Its depth is typically over 75 centimeters, and width of 70 centimeters is sufficient to meet usage needs. This compact design is commonly found in the layout of mobile toilets in public places, improving usage efficiency per unit area through optimized space allocation.
