Most Creative Mobile Toilet

Admin September 24, 2026

There are mainly two creative ways to make mobile toilets, using water storage barrels and chemical barrels respectively.

Making a movable toilet using a water storage barrel: First, select an appropriate water storage barrel and split it in half with an angle grinder. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy movement. Use wooden strips to increase the height of the barrel. Cut an opening on the side of the water storage barrel, install sponge strips to form a door frame, and insert plastic soft boards to create raised walls. Place the upper half of the water storage barrel on top of the wooden strips as a roof and paint the wooden strips with white waterproof paint. Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door. Cut a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drain pipe to form a floor drain. Cut holes on the side and bottom of the plastic barrel and connect them with direct joints. Place the plastic barrel on the roof to form a small water storage device and connect it to a bathtub made of water pipes. Install a three-way joint below the water inlet pipe and connect it to a showerhead. Place a toilet and install a water tank, fix the toilet with glass glue, connect the drain pipe to the sewage barrel, horizontally connect a water pipe from the three-way joint of the outlet pipe to the door as the water inlet pipe for the sink, and cut holes in the door to install joints and hoses. This plan makes full use of the space in the water storage barrel. Through reasonable design and installation of various facilities, it realizes the basic functions of a mobile toilet and has certain waterproof and mobile properties.

Making a mobile toilet using two chemical barrels: Find two large chemical barrels, remove the steel bars on top, and cut off the entire lids of the plastic barrels with a cutting machine. Place the two plastic barrels upside down together and fix the upper and lower iron frames. Cut an opening the size of a door frame on one side and make corresponding cuts on the inner plastic barrel. Find rectangular iron sheets and fix the gaps between the two plastic barrels with screws. Cut holes in the corners of the plastic barrels, install PVC pipes, apply sealant, and cut off the excess PVC pipes. Place the toilet on top and install the toilet water tank, fix it with glue, connect and install the water inlet pipe and sink, make a showerhead with a PVC pipe and connect and install it. Install two wooden doors with hinges and handles, extend and connect the water inlet pipe, lay the water pipe flat to the bottom of the plastic barrel, and finally test all functions and connect the drain to a water pipe and a septic tank. This plan realizes all the functions of a mobile toilet through the clever combination of two chemical barrels and a reasonable layout of the internal space, and the structure is relatively stable.
