Monolithic Mobile Toilet Sewage Pipe
Admin October 16, 2026
The specifications, design, and construction points of the sewage pipe for monolithic mobile toilets are as follows:

1. Common Pipe Specifications
- Toilet Sewage Outlet (Main Pipe): The mainstream specification is DN110mm (φ110), which complies with the requirement in the "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Building Drainage Engineering" (GB 50268-2008) that "the minimum pipe diameter for the drainage pipe of a toilet should not be less than DN110mm". This specification is suitable for single-room or low-usage scenarios (such as scenic spots and construction sites), being economical and meeting basic needs.
- Sink Drain Outlet: Usually DN50mm (φ50), a smaller branch pipe used for discharging hand-washing wastewater. If a septic tank is installed at the bottom of the toilet, the sink drain outlet can have a 160mm pipe opening for direct drainage into the tank.
- Water Inlet Pipe: The specification is DN33mm (1-inch pipe), responsible for supplying water to the toilet. It is necessary to ensure stable water pressure to meet flushing requirements.
- Multi-unit or High-frequency Usage Scenarios (such as shopping malls and stations): It is recommended to use a main pipe specification of DN110mm to DN150mm to handle large-volume drainage and reduce the risk of blockage.
- Special Types of Toilets: Waterless packaging or foam-sealing mobile toilets have different sewage discharge methods, with smaller pipes or no need for sewage pipes, only requiring wastewater discharge branch pipes.
2. Septic Tank Connection Design If a septic tank is installed at the bottom of the toilet, the pipe opening size needs to be adjusted according to the pipe type:
- Toilet Sewage Outlet: A 250mm pipe opening can be made for direct drainage into the tank, ensuring smooth flow of feces and flushing water.
- Sink Drain Outlet: As mentioned earlier, a 160mm pipe opening is used for direct drainage to avoid wastewater accumulation.
3. Construction and Material Requirements
- Slope Design: The sewage horizontal pipe should maintain a slope of 1% to 2% (i.e., a drop of 1 to 2 cm per meter), using gravity to promote drainage and prevent blockage.
- Pipe Material Selection: Priority should be given to PVC-U pipes, which have advantages such as corrosion resistance, light weight, and easy installation, suitable for the frequent disassembly and assembly needs of mobile toilets.
- Joint Sealing: The pipe joints should be sealed with glue or sealant to prevent water leakage or odor return, ensuring a hygienic environment.
4. Code Compliance and Applicability All designs must strictly comply with the "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Building Drainage Engineering" (GB 50268-2008) to ensure that pipe diameters, slopes, and materials meet national standards, guaranteeing safety and long-term stability in use.
