Modular Prefabricated House Production
Modular prefabricated house production mainly involves independent modular production, foldable prefabricated house production, and拼接 (should be 'connectable' or 'combinable') container house production.
Independent Modular Production: This method breaks down the building into independent modules, which are manufactured in a factory. It specifically includes the production of components such as ceilings, walls, and bathroom waterproof layers. Similar to the automotive industry, some scattered components are produced separately and then sent to the final assembly station for completion. All components of the house, including ceilings, floors, and water and electricity pipelines, are prefabricated on the factory assembly line. Taking exterior wall panel production as an example, the reverse-casting process is used. First, tiles are laid on the mold, followed by reinforcing bar binding and concrete pouring. After the concrete cures and takes shape, the prefabricated wall panels are erected, and the tile gaps are treated. The components are steam-cured, then demolded and lifted, and finally numbered and stored by category. This production method ensures the quality and precision of each component, improves production efficiency, and reduces on-site construction time and errors.
Foldable Prefabricated House Production: All interior decorations and system integrations are completed in the factory, allowing the house to be folded and packed into containers for transportation. It can be quickly unfolded and used on-site. For example, a 73-square-meter fully furnished two-bedroom prefabricated house purchased online by an American couple from China only required unfolding on-site and connecting to water and electricity for occupancy. This type of house offers the advantages of convenient transportation and quick installation, making it suitable for temporary housing needs or scenarios requiring rapid occupancy, such as post-disaster reconstruction and tourist resorts.
Connectable Container House Production: Taking the combinable and detachable container houses from Jiangmen Shangshufang Mobile Houses as an example, they can be freely combined and feature brick exterior walls. After prefabrication in the factory, they can be quickly assembled. This type of house combines the sturdiness of containers with their combinability, allowing flexible combinations according to different needs and site conditions to form building spaces of varying scales and functions, suitable for various settings such as construction site dormitories and commercial shops.
